  1. Congratulations to you ! You are on the right track! I wish you the best.
  2. Your life sounds very exciting with all the traveling! Do you have any pointers about getting an adaquate amount of protein and liking it? If I have any kind of problem, that's what it will be. So far, I've managed to do OK with the shakes, but it's only been a month since I was banded.
  3. Wow! You are truly an inspiration! I was banded 8/5/08 and already have lost 17 lbs. I hope I do as well as you have.
  4. Thanks for the reply. I will check into the Isopure and the amino acid. Congratulations to you for the amazing weight loss. That is very inspiring since I'm so new at this!
  5. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try it out.
  6. I was banded Aug 5, 2008 by Dr. Adam Smith. I have done very well with the procedure post op and also with my first fill. I have to admit, being the coward that I am, I was a little worried about the fill. It took about 30 seconds and I was done. The only thing that concerns me is getting enough protein and liking it. I have a powdered protein supplement that has 42 gms. of protein and I can get it down with ff milk, ice, and tang but I would welcome any ideas of what to mix to make it more tasty. I know I will get tired of drinking it on a daily basis.
