Oh, yes. When I roll over in bed I don’t have to readjust my breasts anymore. They’re so much smaller so they don’t get in the way nearly as much & I can lie on my tummy without lots of discomfort. 😁

So I'm 4 months post op. I'm down 52lbs since surgery, 79lbs since the start of my journey. I never use to like laying on the floor. You all know the feeling. Back hurts, legs need elevated, ribs and stomach hurts if you lay on your stomach. Now I love to just lay on the cool floor near an air vent and play with my son. I can lay on my back or stomach. Anyone else notice how much more comfortable you are in positions you never were before??

had another weight drop this morning… must have been retaining some Water because it was 385.4! checked a couple times to make sure it wasn’t a fluke reading.
confession time… part of me wishes i had confidence that i could keep this up and loose weight I desire without the surgery. yes, i have already changed my lifestyle and worked super hard to overcome binge eating and emotional eating…even if something happens and i can’t have surgery i will loose some weight and be better off because of the changes to me……

but i know it would be difficult keep up this particular diet long term. I love love love Beans and legumes and sushi too much to be this strict all the time… I also know how hard it would be to really reach my goals without a lot of medical help at my weight. fighting biology sucks i want to be under 235 (150 more lbs) but secretly want to be under 200 (185 more lbs… aim for the stars!!)… mostly i just want to be somewhat normal and not always be the fattest person in the room or worried about if i can sit someplace … and stop getting “those” looks that people give ultra fat people…
terrified that without surgery it will be ultra easy to become that binging person again… or simply that it will be too hard to fight the biology of my metabolism to really achieve what i want in a reasonable amount of time….each day i am getting older ya know;)

so enjoying the accomplishment for now… i had an arbitrary goal to be 378 before surgery and it now seems reasonable since i still have a month… time will tell!

am starting my pre op eating habits early (no surgery date yet - late sept or early oct) and am trying to do less than 50 total carbs a day (keto) but not strict (been 75 carbs - 2 days and under 50 - 5 days this past week) …

and it has worked well this last week! down 6 lbs in one week!!

I am now down to 389.8 (8/23/2022)from my high weight last year of 452. (426 in April 2022)

    woo hoo yay me

If you think you're going to sleep with them, you gotta let em know ahead of time. They see you looking one way, then all of a sudden BAM, the skin monster comes out and they're like WTF??!?! If it's a serious relationship, they will understand and hopefully it won't change anything. If it's more casual, well, there's a better chance they won't like it. Just pick wisely and hope for the best. Or get skin surgery and don't deal with any of it lol My husband and I have been together for 17 years, but I'm with you. Ya just never know. I'm getting ALL the surgery once I hit goal weight. I'm working too hard to get healthy and smaller just to continue to have issues with my body and be embarrassed of it.

eggs are my go to. Every morning I have 1 scrambled egg and an applesauce cup. Been that way for at least 4 weeks. I don't know how else I would've survived!

I'm had bypass April 15th and eggs use to be my favorite go to Protein. I've tried eggs over the stove using different healthy butter alternatives, trying scrambled, fried, and boiled. Everytime I'm in the bathroom within minutes. Frozen Atkins egg meals are a lil easier but barely. I still get nauseated but I don't puke them up like fresh eggs. Anyone else have this issue?

    So it’s been one year!

my weight before surgery (August 2020) was 330 lbs!
my weight today is 170 lbs.
I really want to inspire people as much as I can.. I want my journey to show you that you can do it no matter what. I’m much healthier now and I feel like I own the world, my life has completely changed, I don’t have sleep apnea anymore, I’m back to being the energetic kid I used to be, no more sleeping 24/7, and I can finally drive! ( I never had the chance to due to severe sleep apnea)
I couldn’t ride roller coasters before duo to my weight, and I’ve waited in line just to discover that I don’t fit into seats many times. But now, I can fit in every single ride and I just feel so happy, I feel.. alive!

Before pics and after pics included ❤️ Hope this inspires someone!!

As of today, I am exactly 3 1/2 months post sleeve surgery and have lost 61 pounds!!!! I can't believe it!!! I still feel like I'm fighting for every pound, but I also knew PCOS would do that to me. Still, I'm so so happy that I hit that weight. I know it's going to get tougher the more time that goes by, but the fact that I'm losing and not putting the weight back on is huge!!!! I'm so excited. My next goal is to hit 320 (that will officially put me at a lower weight than I was with Keto - even though I lost 100 pounds then, and it'll only be 67 pounds now, because I went into the surgery a lower weight than I was at when I started keto). After that, my next goal is to hit 299 and be under 300 for the first time since 2005.

Walmart has sugar free popsicles that you can bite, unless you have sensitive teeth. Ocean Spray has 5 calorie juices, V8 splash diet isn't bad, sugar free Jello from the cold case so you can chew. Sounds horrible, but I also during that time got a pack of bouillon cubes because I want allowed broth unless it was Protein added. I would lick the cube when I would get cravings. The cube lasted my entire liquid diet, so I didn't do it often. Good luck.

Good luck with your surgery in the AM. I got revised 4/15. Highest weight 311, Surgery weight 288, Current weight 243. I did good with my sleeve till the I fractured my spine. I developed a hernia and my GERD was rediculous. Then I got a pregnant a year later and only continued the weight gain with post partum depression. Doing great mentally and physically now, steady weight loss but I am right on par considering the meds I have to take slow it down.
