  1. You look really great!~ It shows not only in the pictures but in your smile.
  2. I was banded in October 2007 and have lost 34 lbs to date. After my first 2 fills I felt good restriction and was losing weight steadily. Then I went in for my 3rd fill and was tightened TOO TIGHT so the DR "let the band out". After that I was able to eat as if I didn't have the surgery. I was lucky enough not to gain but began to lose weight slowly. Last week I went in for another fill, I can say I am VERY restricted now. I am back to eating small amounts of food. As the band is adjusted I have to adjust as well. It's definetly a different lifestyle. Hopefully your DR. will find your comfort zone soon where you are eating less and getting full. It took me several fills to get there. Good Luck!
  3. Hello, I was banded in October 2007. I remember having terrible gas and gas pains for about 2 weeks after surgery. The first week was the worst week. I had to take a few "breaks" at work because I was so uncomfortable. But, don't worry...It does go away. Now I just get a little burpy after fills but usually when I drink or eat. It's pretty mild though. It's a bit awkward at work, but I just try to keep them quiet. Hope you feel better soon!
  4. Correction...I had surgery October 2007.
  5. Hello, I had Lap Band surgery in October 08 and have lost 33 lbs to date. I recently had my 5th or 6th fill a week ago and this is the first fill that has left me feeling miserable. I am scared to eat since everything I eat wants to come back up after taking the 2nd bite. I didn't want to be beulemic I just wanted to be restricted. Anyway, does this feeling go away after the first week? does it get any better??? :frown: Help please.....Thanks!!!
