  1. Jeni, thanks for the pictures and best wishes on your fast approaching round 2. I am eagerly awaiting more pictures. You are looking wonderful!!! Mimi
  2. I wish you a speedy recovery. I didn't know that scar tissue could cause that kind of situation, thanks for posting. Mimi
  3. Yay, Julie.ann!!!! Congratulations!!!!! Mimi
  4. Mrgrta you are incredibly wonderful and that middle incision is going to fade to about nothing. I can't get over how well you are doing. It was kind of you to post the pics for us. It gives me hope!!! Mimi
  5. I, too, take several meds, pills and capsules and have 7cc in a 10cc band. I agree everyone is different, but I think unless your doc said no, you could start taking them, one a time, slowly like JayTee said. Mimi
  6. Go for it, Fanny, and I am right behind you!!!! Mimi
  7. That is a large amount of wt to gain in 3 wks. Are you sure it's worth it? Especially if you have never weighed that much before?
  8. I totally absolutely agree with the other 2 posters. Please let us know what happens. Mimi
  9. Josie, thanks for all the updates and good information....when is the big reveal? I am delighted you are doing so well. Mimilou
  10. I am not from your area, but I feel your pai. I paid $200 yesterday and didn't get much restriction for my money!!!! Mimi
  11. That has happened to me twice in 2 months and I had to get an unfill both times. Best wishes, I hope you don't suffer the way I did. Mimi
  12. I eat a lot of fruit, I am the opposite of Jachut as I find fruit easier than veggies. I have trouble with apples unless I peel them, but other than that I enjoy everything from blueberries to cantaloupe. Everyone is different in their tolerance, though. Good luck. Mimi
  13. Joanne, I am delighted you are doing so well. I can't wait to go through what you are going through. Every time I look at my "girls" I get sad!!! I want them perky like yours!! Mimi
  14. I know that bloop bloop bloop well and wish my doc had refilled me under flouro. Glad you got taken care of, Phyl. Mimi
  15. Shalee, I am so happy for you!!! Keep up the protein intake and vitamins to heal well. Mimi
  16. Josiebies and Danimal...I have given this a lot of thought and I now think it is important to keep up with your wt loss by buying smaller clothes. It makes the self image adjustment realer sooner and when you have to go shopping trying on so many things it forces you to look at your body and acknowledge the changes. Josiebies, good luck on your surgery, hope to hear from you soon after. Mimi
  17. Hey Trisha, your goals sound do-able and realistic. We are the same age and the wt has gone very slowly, but it is going!!!! Welcome and good luck. PS, maybe after a while you will change your mind about the boy toy, LOL!!!! Mimi
  18. T, I am facing the same dilemma, especially since I am much older than you with slower metabolism. The last time I was this wt I was 2 sizes smaller. It is said that every time we gain wt we are FATTER with less lean muscle mass. I believe it. So when I was younger a bigger portion of my wt was muscle which is trimmer than flabby fat. That is why I am working out trying to restore some lean muscle and burn fat. Good luck to you. Mimi
  19. Yippee!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! Mimi
  20. I am using one right now with no ill effects, not even extra belching!!! Mimi
  21. Angie, you look wonderful and that dress is beautiful. Keep up the good work. Mimi
  22. Shalee, thanks for the update. I hope your results are all you wanted. Mimi
  23. If it tastes good and you want more, it is probably a slider food. Even tortilla chips are slider food for me, along with the salsa, sour cream, and guacamole that accompany the chips. Mimi
  24. Juli, I am glad you didn't get that hated drain, and let us know everyone at works reaction at your big "reveal"!!! When are we going to see the results? Soon!!! Mimi
  25. This week I had an unfill with lidocaine then a second unfill w/o. I don't believe I will do w/o the lidocaine again!!!!!! Ouchie. Mimi
