Yes I have my pre-covid screening scheduled for July 9th, 2 days before my surgery so I'm praying I'm symptom free and negative!

I'm scheduled to have my gastric sleeve surgery on July 11th. I tested positive for Covid on July 1 (rapid) and July 2nd (PCR). Do you think my surgery will be postponed? I know the rules change frequently.

Thank you! Yes I'm determined to get through this with no slip ups. Currently on day one. So far so good, I just keep letting the thought that "I want this," fuel my drive to keep going. But I appreciate all the helpful insight.

Thank you for this input. Yeah, I haven't met with my surgeon yet, we are scheduled to chat on Wednesday. I did the seminar where the nutritionist went over everything involved in the packet. The diet, vitamins, what to expect, etc. So maybe once I speak with my surgeon he'll be able to give me more information. Thank you!

I am 27, scheduled to have the surgery on July 11th. I am preparing to start the 2 week pre op liquid diet. Does anyone have any tips? I know in times past some people were able to eat some lean proteins and veggies. Does anyone know if that changed? I also was curious if anyone happened to slip up at any point?
