  2. Hi Sabi! Congrats on your journey. I do not believe you are messing anything up. What you are able to tolerate is going to be different from others, family included. I believe what your brother is saying is to slow down the eating process. Give yourself a chance to savor each spoonful and this will help to slow down the time it takes to complete your meal (yogurt in this case) and may make you feel fuller along the way. Listen to your body. I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts and experiences as well. Take care and best of luck to you.

  5. Hello! I recently had band to bypass conversion. My surgeon explained the benefits and success rates of both and suggested the bypass. At 2 weeks post-op, I'm happy with my decision. Best of luck to you on your journey.
  6. I am 8 days post op, band to RNY. Pain was intense first few days. Yesterday, hardly any pain but this morning is a different story. I do find that I have tolerable pain when I wear my binder. Only one BM since surgery, so going to start the Miralax today. Remember to take it easy and only do as much as your body will allow. Best of luck and love on your journey and hope you have relief sooner than later.
  7. Congrats! I had revision (lap band to bypass) on 5/18. Best of luck on your journey!
