  1. I actually have Tricare, which falls into Humana South, and I have been jumping through hoops finding a Physician. I'll find one soon for this I am sure, I just need to keep trying. I wish you the best of luck!
  2. Thank you both for your replies! I did find out that an out of network provider is available to me, but ironically enough all of the Doctors I spoke with don't accept my insurance, go figure. So, I continue in my search. Thanks again to both of you for your helpful replies!
  3. Hi...I haven't had a problem with Humana not approving anything, thusfar, but my problem has remained finding a Physician who accepts my insurance and/or one within my network. Best of luck to you and may it go by quickly, safely and comfortably!
  4. Hello All, I am new to this and desperately want to have this surgery. I have been approved by my insurance to see a Surgeon. However, either the potential Doctor does not accept my insurance, is an out of network provider or is not within the hospital network, ugh. Has anyone else had so many roadblocks before they even started? That you in advance for your advice!
  5. Hello Julian...I am sure you have found the right place for information on experiences & support. I to am new at this, but it looks like a great place to post as everyone is so friendly and supportive...we are all in the same boat  On a side note, I am having difficulties finding a Doctor who accepts my insurance, go figure, someone who doesn't want to be paid! I am not near a military facility, as my screen I.D. identifies, so I am left to investigate on my own Doctors & facilities covered by my insurance and I've got to tell you I've been on a wild goose chase! Even my insurance can't give me names when I call, geez. I am determined however to find someone and initiate this process. I look forward to speaking with as many people as possible about their experiences and hopefully share with you my own. It's a pleasure to be here!
