  1. I had a consultation and the doctor has availabilities in two weeks- much sooner than I'd thought. I'm depressed, largely in part due to body image issues. I'm worried I will want to eat solid food on my immediate post-op liquid diets. I am also concerned about the depression that I am experiencing now and how it will bare on my surgery. Experience and hope welcome.

  3. You can take an uber or a taxi to the airport. And you can take medical transport home. If you google search "medical transport" in your city of surgery, you will find a medical transport company that the hospital can release you to. Also, some in-home care nurses will offer transport. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use one of these in case you need in-home care. You'd be familiar with them should you need to have in-home care.
