2 1/2 weeks out from rny, eating soft foods ok (introducing a new one every day) and getting in water. I think I'm swallowing air though I am trying very hard not to. I have many burps and gurgles with eating and drinking. I am using my son's baby spoon for foods, and putting it down between spoonfuls, am getting small sips of water constantly. How can I improve my food/beverage to air ratio? I am also very tired, not much energy. Is that normal?

so many programs are so different. The good news is they all give good results!

I had rny on 9/23. Our plan allows plain yogurt, so I mix some of that and some fairlife with the PB fit makes a pb mousse type. delish! and my tummy tolerates. I'm still getting some gas. I have post nasal drip from my allegies so I think I am swallowing some air. I'm sure it will get better. When does energy come back???

mine is scheduled for the 23rd. I'm seriously questioning too. Not only am I hangry! (thanks liquid diet!) i'm having all the "I can never have xxxxx again" thoughts. I KNOW this is my emotions working, not my rational mind, but is it all worth it? I keep going back to my FB groups and NOT ONE PERSON has said they regret it. That is a huge motivator for me. NOT ONE PERSON. think of that!! I wish you luck, where is your surgery? i am in central Maine!

what are you using for liquids other than shakes and water? have you tried the protein waters? I'm trying to find some sweetened with stevia not sucralose. Sucralose gives me a stomach ache, makes me pukey. Looking for suggestions!! Everyone on here is doing so amazing. So glad I joined this group!

I'm sure you will do well!! not sure what MGH means? i think I might start my liquid a couple days early and maybe "snack" once per day off something my hubby eats for a couple bites. Life is about balance right? the extra days will offset anything I take in those 2 days. SSHH!!!

My date is Sept 23rd, in Maine. Nervous because the first weekend of my 2 week liquid diet we are going to Boston for a show. Hoping I can do the liquid all weekend without succumbing to any solids! my hubby can enjoy all the good foods and I'll just watch from the sidelines ? good luck to all September surgeries
