  1. I think it's awesome that you could be open and inspire/help strangers even if it's by a short casual conversation. Once I had a date confirmed for surgery I told my co-workers, parents and close friends as they were going to notice in time and I'd rather be upfront about it. However, have agreed with my husband not to discuss on his side of the family as his mum will repeat it to anyone who will listen. It's a bit frustrating as I'd rather be open and honest, but the judgmental in-laws don't help (always pushed me to just exercise/cross-fit without understanding my situation) nor do I think my surgery should be their gossip of the day. I've only recently been sleeved ~10 days ago and am currently in covid lock down so for now I carry on and wait and see what happens.
  2. Thanks @MistySkye , I'm glad to hear your surgery happened the following month despite the initial disappointment of it all. I hope you're doing well and living it up now. Fingers and toes are crossed that maybe my time will come soonish.
  3. Late to the party here, I've been notified my upcoming surgery for gastric sleeve & gall bladder removal for 2 Sep is now cancelled due to Covid. I'm not entirely sure when to expect a change in decision making but hopeful this year ?. For now it's more protein bars & soups. I hope things are on the up for you.
  4. Me too! I'm excited but also a little uneasy about being in hospital. About to start week 3 of 6 pre op diet. Hope it all goes well
