Had my bypass 8/2 and also had my gallbladder taken out. Doing well but first 2 days were very painful. Still have pain, and have been doing a lot of sleeping, too. how are the others who had bypass already?

Ok, time for honesty for me. I’m on day 8 of my preop and on a couple of these days I was so low blood sugar I was shaking (I’m not diabetic). To fix this, I had about 200 calories of cheese. I’ve also gone from 6 caffeinated beverages a day before the preop diet to 2. Tomorrow I’ll start tapering down to 1 cup of coffee. I have a demanding and stressful job and I still need to function. Have I totally gone off the rails?
