  1. Monday starts the first day of a "regular diet" which isn't regular in my book.. lol Its been an easy journey for the most part for me. Surgery was August 2nd, and It really was better than I anticipated. Now I do waste a lot of food now, Haven't mastered this food thing yet. Soft foods I can eat now, and I had a soft taco and didnt finish it. This is new territory for me and im glad I made the decision

  6. just had my 2 week post op appointment! Got fussed at about my low fluid intake and had to get another IV lol but other than that all is well surgeon says!
  7. i’m going to try to buy some Lean Cuisine meals and blend them.. Do you have anything with your eggs?
  8. August 2nd surgery and I had to get my first IV drip for dehydration.. 1 hour of IV is a lot simpler than sipping an ounce or two of water every ten minutes lol.. I’m trying my best to stay on my liquid and protein.. I start puree diet Monday and i’m dreading that

  10. lol had mine on the 2nd as well... its hard for me to get protein as well.. I never thought to put the powder in gatorade, I will try it! I cant eat mashed potatoes until the puree stage! I think that stage will be harder for me than the liquid stage.. I am looking forward to mashed potatoes tho lol. Counting the days, I start that phase on Monday!
  11. yeah it’s more uncomfortable than really painful.. It was painful for me in recovery tho once I woke up… my incisions i don’t even know they are the ere unless I look at them. I have no pain or soreness around those spots… just the cramps/gas
  12. Staring my new journey today! I’m getting discharged so the journey begins!

  14. i’m out of surgery, first night! The gas pains are horrible

  16. Ive never had surgery before.. Ive only been put under once in my life when I was about 12, and that as because I broke my leg and they had to shift it back in place , dont know why they put me to sleep for that, maybe because pain would be too much for a 12 year old... but here I am 45 getting put under for a 2nd time... First actual surgery

  19. Is applesauce an option? And i’m allowed hot cereals (grits and oatmeal) but plain .. i’m allowed to eat pudding, but why can’t i put small amount of cheese in the grits lol
  20. August 2nd here.. and Liquid diet has me confused lol
