My surgery was originally scheduled for May 14, but insurance wouldn't approve it... My doctors office filed two appeals and the surgery has been finally approved and scheduled on July 9. So excited and nervous at the same time! Good luck to all of you with preps for July surgeries!

Thank you! Fingers (and toes ?) crossed! They told me I meet all requirements, but sometimes the insurance companies like to play games.

My gastric sleeve surgery was scheduled for May 14 and my doctor's office called today to tell me that the insurance declined the procedure. We are back to square one now... They are sending an appeal tomorrow. Hoping it will get approved sometime soon... Good luck to all May surgeries!
