  2. Just wondering how many available men are out there because most the post are from women?? I’m single in NC. Let’s get this post up and thriving and ladies you are welcome to respond!?
  3. It’s totally normal. I had weeks where 1-2 pds was it. Our body loses fast at first, then slows down and further out you have to work to get the pounds off. Be patient and trust the process. You don’t want to lose too fast and lose all your lean muscle mass or you’ll look like a deflated balloon.

  8. I love Fairlife shakes only!
  9. My surgery is not listed, but I had the SADI. I was just wondering if anyone is feeling unmotivated to work out? I'm getting my energy back and all necessary vitamins and protein. I think I feel less motivated to work out since I'm already losing weight!!! I'm 3 months post op by the way. Has anyone else dealt with this? thanks Terri
  10. I feel like you need a dietitian for our specific bariatric surgery need. I’m only 4 weeks out and I can’t fathom getting in that much protein. Especially with you having previous liver issues. Too much protein can also shut down the kidneys. I would seek a second opinion for sure.
  11. I had surgery on March 23rd and had the SADI. I’m starting puréed foods currently. My weight was 265 surgery day and I’m stuck at 252 for over a week. Did anyone else have this issue?
  12. I take bariatric advantage multivitamin, probiotic chewable, iron chewable and calcium citrate. But, my surgery was the SADI.

  17. I had the SADI on March 23. I feel great! I have issues with gas, but infant gas drops do the trick. I’m getting better and have more energy every day. I’ve been experimenting with the different vitamin samples. I spend a lot of time cooking for my 4 kids and love it! I started a small herb garden on my porch today. It’s amazing how much time we have now that we aren’t preoccupied with eating. Anyone surgery twins with me???

  19. My SADI is March 23rd. I’m ready for this preop diet to stop!
  20. I started my preop diet yesterday and it’s hard for sure. I have a protein shake for breakfast and lunch and 3-4oz. Meat and a non starchy veggie. My snacks are 2oz meat or cheese or boiled eggs and one no starchy veggie plus a healthy fat. 64 oz water and 4 dill pickles or 2 cups broth per day. The bad news is it’s for three weeks! Surgery date is March 23 for SADI.
