  1. Hello everyone! I hope everyone who went on the 1st and 2nd are doing really well, and healing. To everyone going tomorrow, the 4th, and on through the rest of May best of luck and my prayers are with everyone. I was banded this morning at 10 am. I was very nervous, and honestly wanted to get up off of the table and tell them nevermind, but they were very calming and before I knew it they were waking me up out of the deepest sleep! My main problem today was being soooo sleepy, I basically slept the day away. I feel like I've done entirely too many sit-ups, but thus far discomfort is very minimal. I feel a little tinge of gas pain in my shoulder blade, but I went ahead and took some Gas-X strips and hopefully that will take care of it. I will keep everyone posted as the days pass. I'm sooooooooo excited!!!! :clap2: Kelli
  2. Seminole-I will be banded May 3rd!! I will find out what time on Monday. I can't believe it's finally here!!!!! :bounce: 3loves-Thanks, I could use all the prayers I can get. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Have a great weekend everyone! Kelli
  3. Hello all you May Banders! :brick: My thoughts and prayers are with everyone beginning their journey...may you have a safe procedure and heal quickly. I have a quick question...How many of you are doing a liquid Protein diet before your surgery, and for how long? My doc didn't really indicate a liquid diet, and I'm wondering if I should maybe do it for a few days for the heck of it? I haven't done a very good job with my low glycemic index diet...I definitely have food issues. :nono: I'm praying that the band will be a tool that helps me finally lick this thing! Take care all! Kelli
  4. Hello everyone out there! My name is Kelli, and I will be banded by Dr. Spivak in Houston on May 3...I can't wait!!!! I'll be so happy once the surgery (primarily the anesthesia...makes me nervous) is over and I'm on my way to healing and losing! :clap2: YEAH!! I am so thankful for this site, I have had so many questions answered from just looking around and reading all of the helpful posts...thank you fellow bandsters.
