  4. Hi I was banded on 9/11/07 and I have had a lot of set backs due to surgery of removing my gallbladder and being diagnosed with NASH a liver disease. All of which is related to my weight. My starting weight was 236 at the time of surgery I lost 16 lbs after surgery but then the weight krept back. i am finally at a place where i am serious about losing weight for good. i have a 10cc vanguard band and right now i have a 8.2cc fill in it. I am so excited because i have lost 5lbs since my fill 3 days ago. Giving up food has been really hard. it was my best friend my whole life. My way of coping with everything. There are times when i wish i could eat a big hamburger and fries but i know that feeling will pass. I am looking forward to losing more and hopefully getting my health back on track. Thanks for reading!
