5’4” HW: 261.8, W@Pre-Op: 231.8, CW: 205.2 GW: 130
Growing up I was an elite athlete, my life revolved around my sports, the outdoors and my love for adventures. On the night of my 18th birthday, that all came crashing down when I was involved in an accident that well, frankly, should have killed me. In the 8 years following this accident, I went on to have 7 major reconstructive surgeries on my leg, and was diagnosed with PTSD from the wreck along with MDD from the fallout following. My body was shot from the steroids, the mood stabilizers, the 6 month surgery rehabs stuck in bed every single time. I gained over 125 lbs in 2 years. I’ve tried plenty to get the excess weight off. When they discovered a hiatal hernia a few months ago, we decided to go through with the VSG along with the repair. So on 2/10/21 I was sleeved! I’m excited for this journey and to get back in the gym and on the court eventually.
