    Hello I am looking for some different snack ideas? I have pretty much been eating the same things. I am 9 months out so I can eat pretty much anything. I used to eat apples with PB or AB but now the apples are bothering my belly. I eat cukes with cottage cheese, and a lot of raw almonds and walnuts. I don't do hummus as that bothers me also. Just hoping to see what you guys are suggesting. Thanks

    No more boobs

    I used to be a full 44C before surgery. Now a 36B is too big (the cups are gaping) . I wonder if I will be back in a training bra pretty soon. It is really depressing. I noticed I still have to wear a bra if I go out because they are really saggy now, and my nipples are always sticking out. Weird, because that rarely happened when they were bigger.
  5. My goal was to reach 135 and now I am at 131 at 9 months out. I don't like the way I look or feel at this weight. I wish I would have stopped losing around the 140-145 mark. That is when I felt better about the way I looked. Now I am trying to stop losing and just maintain and having a very hard time with it. I believe you will know what you feel comfortable with at the time.

    I was on Trazadone before the WLS and it made me gain a lot of weight. You could be experiencing anxiety? Check with your doc. There are lots of meds for it that don't make you gain weight.

    First Stall and Carb questions

    Hello everyone has stalls at different times of their weight loss journey. It is completely normal. I have had several. Some have lasted a week, and others have lasted 3-4 weeks at a time. It is very discouraging but if you stay on track, you will keep losing. Your carbs and calories seem very high to me. I am 9 months out and my carbs don't go over 20, protein is 90-100, and calories is around 800 at the most per day. I know we are all different, and on different eating plans. I am not a doctor, but my advice would be to try to increase your protein, eat less carbs and calories and watch what happens. Good Luck

    I was told that there is no such thing as "stretching your belly out". My surgeons staff told me that is a myth.
  9. I am up at 6am every morning and I drink 1/2 of my daily water intake before breakfast at 9am. Then if I get busy during the day I only have to worry about drinking the other 1/2 before I get to bed. I drink 1/2 gallon per day with no problems.

    Try to take some Miralax for the next couple of days and see if that works. That I what I had to do. It will take a few days to work though.

    It is a comfortable, fun exercise that is enjoyable to do. I hate being in the gym. I would rather be outside in the sun getting some exercise in nature.

    I did stop the Miralax despite the docs orders. Haven't taken it in 3 days and still don't feel good. Still having all the side effects you listed. I also stopped eating the protein bars that have the artificial sweeteners and see if that helps too. I started the food log this morning and will see what is going on. Thank you

    I eat strawberries and blackberries, can't do yogurt or dairy too much. I try to eat something that has protein and is healthy.

    Feet shrunk!

    Hello I think this is really weird/funny. I went shopping the other day, and decided to try on some sandals. Before my surgery I wore 10 WW shoes. Now I am in a 9 regular shoe. I understand the width part as you lose weight. But how can your feet get shorter? LOL

    This group is really great

    I have been here now for 9 months and honestly don't know what I would do without this group. Most people have been extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I haven't encountered any rude people or rude comments at all. Sometimes I am on here all day commenting, and other days I just read and it makes me feel better. Thank you to everyone on here.

    I had to get myself away from artificial sweeteners too. Before the WLS I was addicted to diet coke. I weaned myself off of it a few months before the surgery. Now I wouldn't even try to take a sip of it. I was so afraid I would crave it, and I honestly don't.
