  2. Jeez he expects you to do all that when you’re still in severe pain? I’m 15 days post op and having similar pain, but they said it was from internal bruising?!! You’re doing fine. Just keep moving....

  4. Same... I thought I was going to die the first day after... pain worse than my c section... weird how it varies so dramatically.
  5. Haha yep!!! I had a single Oreo and had the same things you were experiencing... I think even natural sugars can be difficult to process after surgery... forget about processed sugar!! Distractions are good, I’m not working right now but feel less uncomfortable when focused on something else. Best of luck!!

  7. We are surgery buddies!! I had mine on the 24 too. I’ve been lethargic too. Probably because lack of calories.

  9. I dunno, but I’m only 6 days out and brushed out a lot more hair than usual.... all you can really do is take the vitamins and wait for them to work. Maybe talk to doctor about hair loss drops for women. You can buy them generic at Walmart.

  13. I’m sorry to hear about this. I can only imagine your frustration. I would say take the time to do things you enjoy that you won’t be able to do after surgery.
  14. I don’t know why he won’t. The whole operation and care afterward was very sketchy. If anyone here is in Florida, I would stay far away from the Cleaveland Clinic. They want me to go to their emergency room, but it’s over half an hour away so I’ll have to go to my local one. I’m really trying to hold on because corona and emergency rooms here don’t mix. They keep sick patients next to non sick ones ? thank you for your response

  16. So I had my surgery on Tuesday. After vomiting blood the whole night, I was discharged the next day. I was given the same pain reliever I already take daily for my back but in liquid form (Vicodin). The pain for the next few days was pretty bad, but manageable. I also started having serious vaginal blood loss even though I had a monthly cycle before surgery. The pain has just gotten worse and I can hardly move now. My doctor have me a generic response of: “go to the emergency room for pain” (I guess I must have been blessed with really good doctors previously because they would address the problems over the phone) but I’m wondering, did anyone go through severe pain that you couldn’t walk and it hurt to move your abdomen the first week?

  21. I honestly don’t know why some doctors require such a low calorie restriction pre op. The only benefit about mu doctor is that it was normal no sugar no fat diet before surgery. I guess at least you’ll be used to little calories for after surgery though.
  22. Yep, me too. At first it was the nausea and then it was the gas that was killer. Even if I take sips of water I still feel has bubbling up. Doesn’t help my doctor only have me Vicodin, which I already take daily for back and neck pain. Feel horrible and I had it done Tuesday as well.
  23. Thanks... I’m glad to know I’m not alone!! Rny must be more intense healing than sleeve...
  24. Had mine on Tuesday. Feel like I’m dying ?
  25. Hey guys and gals, I have my vsg this past Tuesday. I’ve been in severe pain (8 on a 10) since surgery. If it’s not the gas pains still killing me (walking helps, but it’s still there) than the incisions (7 made) and muscle soreness are doing it. The doctor gave me oxycodone at home, which is helping minimal. Did anyone else vomit blood the night after surgery? I did, but my doctor said it was not unusual. Anyone else feel this amount of pain? If you did, when did it go away? Any other tips? Thank you
  26. When did you start drinking again after surgery? This is a question I am afraid to ask my Nutritionist
