Thank you so much for sharing! I am hopeful I can pass the tests and get back on track. I'm so sorry you had to go through that last minute stress... but glad it worked out well. It gives me a lot of hope. I know I'm lucky that they are being as safe as possible. It's for the best. I just wish I had known sooner. I've come this far, though. Maybe just a few more weeks.

My surgery was scheduled for 10/27. The day before, I was notified that my pre-op physical disclosed a left bundle branch defect in my heart and, though I had an echocardiogram that seemed encouraging, they wanted to cancel until I complete a cardiac stress test. I was devastated as I was all ready to go within about 18 hours. I can't complete my stress test until 11/9 and now COVID-19 threatens to cancel elective surgeries again. I'm feeling pretty defeated. Anyone else have similar postponement or cancelations? Did it work out for you or are you still on the path? Did you give up?

So.... my surgery was scheduled for 7:30 this morning, but I got cancelled yesterday because I need to have a stress test done on my heart prior to surgery. My pre-op physical disclosed a left bundle branch block in my heart and after a echocardiogram, the cardiologist wasn't satisfied and wants to perform a stress test. Did anyone else have such a postponement? So sad... today was my day. But now, maybe next month will be my day... or the month after... or ???? ?

I have surgery the 27th too! Yikes! Here we go!
