My surgery was scheduled for 10/27. The day before, I was notified that my pre-op physical disclosed a left bundle branch defect in my heart and, though I had an echocardiogram that seemed encouraging, they wanted to cancel until I complete a cardiac stress test. I was devastated as I was all ready to go within about 18 hours.
