  1. I got my lapband surgery on May 22nd and have lost 44 lbs. to date. I have no regret whatsoever. I love the freedom from eating huge quantities of food. I love feeling lighter and wearing smaller sizes. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it without hesitation. Don't be afraid - it's a smooth recovery if you just follow the instructions of your clinic.
  2. I tried several and the best is "Whey Protein Powder" which I buy at GNC stores. My favorites are chocolate and strawberry. I disliked the Orange Mango. I put 1 cup of non-fat milk in a blender, 1 scoop of protein powder, 4 ice-cubes and blend. It is delicious! Hope this helps.
  3. Hi, this is my first posting. My name is Kathleen and I had Lap Band Surgery on May 22nd after waiting many months for it. I have Tufts Navigator insurance and they required me to complete a 6-month "I Can Change" Program before they would pay for surgery. If anyone out there has this insurance, don't get discouraged. My program ended May 20th and my surgery was two days later with no problem. I feel wonderful and have lost 37 lbs and had my first fill last week. I would love to communicate with you.:cursing:
