  12. I had gas pain up until about the 4th day. Once you're able to pass the gas well you will feel much better. I stopped taking pain meds on about day 5 I believe. Its been 9 days since my surgery(Oct.6) and I went back to work today and completely forgot I even had surgery done lol.
  13. Hey how have you been holding up? We're sleeve twins lol (Oct. 6th). The first 2 days were pretty rough for me due to gas pains and discomfort. 3rd day was a little better and today has been much better. Can't wait to enter the puree phase ?lol.
  14. Mine was just a short conversation over the phone ,lol.

  16. Gay sleever present ?‍♂️ lol I had my sleeve done 2 days ago. Been kinda rough for me due to the gasses. ? Once I’m through this recovery process though, I’m definitely gonna start dating again lol. Anyone in NYC? ??
  17. I had my VSG done yesterday. Have to say it has not been easy for me. I have so much gas and have barely been able to release some. I hope they let me go home today. I have tried walking a lot to release gas but hasn’t helped much. Other than that I am fine. Just super uncomfortable.
  18. I’m having surgery in a few hours! Reading this really made me feel much more relaxed , thanks for sharing!

  20. Hey all, It's my first time posting here! I really love how everyone here is so supportive of one another! I am having my surgery done on October 6th. Luckily for me the nerves haven't kicked in yet but I do think about my post-op results a lot. I am a male and I think my biggest worry with this surgery is that I will lose too much muscle and appear very weak after surgery. I haven't really done much work out since I assume I would just be wasting my time and energy only to lose all that I gained. I am thinking about getting a 10/15lb dumbbell and working my arms out with that over the 6 week period where no more than 15lb lifting is allowed. I know the Protein is key as well. I was wondering if anyone had some tips on retaining muscle? Especially in the shoulder/biceps area. By the way, good luck to anyone having surgery soon.?
