I've been loving these salads!!!
~Spring Mix salad (lettuce) ~1/4 cup shredded cheddar/jack cheese ~few tbs salsa ~2 tbs low fat sour cream ~few tbs fat free italian dressing (I don't use much because of salsa already gives moisture) ~Marinated chicken breast (use whatever you like. I like light ceasar dressing, or just oil w/ some spice). That's it! Enjoy!!! Sometimes I just use turket breast if that's all i have on hand. This salad really stays w/ me for hours! It's about 550 cals or so I think.

Well, I now now how it feels to get the stomach flu while banded . I felt like I wanted to throw up but just dry heaved & gaged alot. I guess it couldn't get past my band, I'm glad I think it would of hurt. It wasn't that bad. It was bad but no pain. I did end up calling Dr. V last night & she called me in desolvable pills & something else to. Singing~I don't ever get cramping, PBing, or any problems like that.

Brigham and Women/Faulker Hospital
Hi BabyFat! Cute name :-)! I had my surgery at Faulkner. I didn't have any problems & actually liked how it's smaller then the Brigham. Can't say too much cause I was in & out. One complaint I had (small) I was right next to the nurses station & they were EXTREMELY loud at all hours laughing talking ect while I was trying to rest. Like I said small complaint.

Hair Loss
Hi! I'm having same trouble w/ hair loss. I am almost 6 months out. My nutritionist told me to first look into my PROTEIN to make sure I'm getting enough. Plus you have to take a MULTI. Also my hair dresser told me about NIOXIN hair treatment system for thinning hair. I bought it for $20.00. It's shampoo/ conditioner/ & a scalp treatment spray. We'll see! HTH!

My recovery was about a week. I think for most people it's a wk. I guess it depends on your job if it would be longer or not. Good luck~! It's a fast recovery!

I have not experienced this either. I don't have much trouble w/ a lot of foods most do. Like, pasta & rice are easy for me because they're soft I guess. I don't eat bread hardly ever. For some reason Doritos can go down ruff if i eat then too fast but regular chips are fine (although I shouldn't eat them).

luvs2~ I think my band may be sensitive to stress ect too. I haven't had a fill in over 2 months & I all of a sudden feel tighter. WEIRD! Oh yeah, emailed Dr. V about my hairloss & she had Sari email me. I'm keeping track of my protein & Sari & I are going to meet on April 7th. Did any of you get a notice of Dr. Vernon no longer doing fills on MONDAY's? So, does this been it's going to be even harder to get in there!?!?!?

My baby done gone and left me...oh mama!
Sorry Ben. I can understand a bit. My husband had a few issues when other men started to notice my weightloss. Hope it doesn't continue to bother him.
