  2. I got my sleeve in August 19, 2020, at 26 years old. I am so glad I did it!!! I've always been overweight-obese. Finally at my high school weight. never been lower than 171 before. Did it because I started having health issues and I want to have children soon. Good luck!! The first month is the toughest but you'll do great!

  5. Oh my goodness, yes! My body doesn't hold onto heat like it used to!! I'm wearing thermals under my scrubs for work...and I live in Texas out of all places!

  7. Yes my mood swings have been off the charts lol, guess I'll just have to be patient. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. Just wondering how my fellow female's cycles are going. I got an IUD about 2 years ago, haven't had a cycle until a month post op(about 3 months ago). I had 2 and now I missed my cycle this month. How crazy has your cycle been since weight loss? Did it ever go back to normal and if when how long did it take? Thanks.
  9. So post op the day of surgery I was up and walking for 15 mins every 15 minutes until I started feeling extra sore around 11pm. It was hard being mobile after that, I think I over did it. Then when I was recovering the next 3 days I could only tolerate walking to the mailbox and back. By day 5 I was walking up 3 flights of stairs to my apt(slowly) so I made an effort to at least do that a few times a day until week 2. Then my doctor wanted me to walk a mile every day. Man it was rough!! lots of resting as well though. Like I said earlier, I think I had overdone it lol.
  10. I used miralax. It's tasteless and produces a bm in 1-3 days! Decaf coffee also helped.

  17. My scars are looking lighter but they're still visible. I'm about 2 months post op and was wondering if anyone knows of a good scar cream? I've been using vitamin E.

  19. Help! I'm starting the maintenance diet this weekend and I'm really craving some good meatballs. I have a sodium limit of 2300 per day, and was looking for a recipe with either ground beef, chicken, or turkey. Thanks in advance!!
  20.    Em_Evolves reacted to a post in a topic: Allergy meds Post Op?
  21. I am 5 weeks post gastric sleeve! Everything is going fine and I'm able to keep food and liquids down. My question is I'm having allergies (it isn't the rona) and what can I take for it? My surgeon's office is currently closed right now. I'll have to call them in the morning.
  22. Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I got the gastric sleeve surgery 8/19/20. I'm new to this app and I wanted to know how I edit the part of the page that says your surgery date, current weight, ect. Thanks☺️♥️
