  1. thank you so much. its just really bothering me.
  2. no, but i live with one and they eat very unhealthily
  3. The two family members that know about my surgery are starting to make me feel uncomfortable. I just had my sleeve two months ago, and while i don’t really see a difference except in my collarbones, i can fit into things i never thought i could. And my shirt and pants size went down significantly. They keep telling me im “skinny” and “so small” in a nice way but I don’t see it at all! Especially in my upper body. I see it on the scale but not anywhere else.its starting to get annoying because they'll tell me that i'm getting small so much and when i start to believe them and feel a little confident they'll tell me that once i start exercising i’ll look better.which i am. Not much because i struggle with depression but im genuinely trying. I exercise 3-4 times a week. I just wish theyd shut up about me “losing all that weight” and then telling me exercise will help me. I know that already!! luckily im starting an exercise program on may 10th that im joining for two months. Its already paid for so I dont have any excuses.Does anyone else have non supportive family members? How do you deal with them?
  4. Thank you I was just dehydrated
  5. Thank you i was just dehydrated
  6. Thanks. I just spoke to my surgeon he told me to go the ER. I’m scared.
  7. Yesterday I had a bite of cauliflower pizza and felt sick. I threw it up (my first time ever throwing up since surgery) and have felt nauseous since then. After I threw up I was nauseous lying down for about 30 min then it went away. I woke up today and was instantly so nauseous I needed to sit down. I’m lying down currently and my heart rate is in the 100s. I’m scared any advice?
  8. Thank you so much you’re the best!
  9. I had surgery 7 weeks ago and I’ve seen my surgeon twice since then. I was cleared to start regular food at 4 weeks (week 1-clear liquids week 2-full liquids week three pureed/soft). I did have beef once when I was cleared for solids, but I don’t think I should have. Anyways I’m paranoid that I’ll get a leak. I’m still kind of scared to eat and most of the time I eat I get really scared, because my appetite came back and sometimes I eat too fast.Any advice or reassurance? Every time I search in this forum for the exact food I ate and read everyone’s responses before I eat. And then I see people saying they found a leak like 2 months after surgery and it really freaks me out.
  10. Thx, I’m having faith it will go away completely
  11. The medical term is called Acanthosis nigricans. I’ve had it since I was a child. I’m dark skinned but it’s still very noticeable. I’ve lost 33 pounds since surgery 7 weeks ago. Does anyone who struggles with this have any success stories? Or what should I be doing now to make sure it goes away
