I bought some red, white and blue ones on Amazon a few years ago I think they were called U.S. kitchen (even though they are from China). They are large and have a drip tray so the mess is limited. I usually just make them with sugar free Hawaiian Punch or cool aid. It's a nice evening snack.

I am new to this forum but I really need to warn others. I am 5 years post op from the sleeve surgery and am MISERABLE! I have also had 4 more surgeries to fix a hiatal hernia at the esophagus and stomach as well as pouches that were formed by the surgery. I have not been able to eat normally since the surgery and by normally I mean the way you are suppose to after VSG. I haven't been able to drink Water without pain. My SW was 245 and now I am at 184 and losing since my most recent surgery. The recent surgery was to fix the hiatal hernia again. I was told it was a "new" way of fixing the hernia, nothing more was told to me. My pancreas was also removed at the same time. My surgery was called a Nissen Fundoplication, its pretty complicated. They use of the stomach to be wrapped around the esophagus so it won't go up into that area again. From the beginning I have had GERD very bad, it was so bad I was on 2 different medications as well as over the counter antacids so that is why the Nissen Fundoplication. It has been horrible this 5 year journey. I am getting all of my records together for a second opinion and to possibly have a revision to the RNY.
This surgery was the biggest regret of my life. My life has suffered more and my relationship has also been hurt by this. I am always so tired and sick, and my husband is worried about losing me.
I have also been just left to flounder. I have had numerous swallow tests and load of medications but NOTHING allows me to drink a nice glass of Water, albeit a sip at a time, without pain.
So in one word "YES" i regret everything about this surgery.
Heather

It sounds like you're doing good. I get an upset stomach at least once a week. I'm still trying to figure out what I can and can't eat. Best of luck and stay positive.

I'm sure you're not the only one. I personally didn't cheat because I really want this to be perminate. I don't think two eggs on day 4 or 5 is the end of the world, but remember the two week pre-op. is to shrink your liver to give them more room to work inside. I'd get back on the horse for the final week +. I've seen on here some doctor's don't even required the pre op. but I'd follow your doctor's orders.

And I take 2 Celebrate multi's (without iron) that are grape flavored (these are actually good). The Bariatric Complete are sold in my doctors office and you can buy 2 bottles for $45 or order online and it's $20. I get the Celebrate on Amazon and I order a three month supply at a time for $46. The site I order the Bariatric Complete on is where I get my Calcium as well and they're Bariatric Advantage. I order both the chewy ones for $33 or the tablet chewables for $25.
The fruit punch ProCare Health chewables are terrible too! I ordered 3 90 count bottles so i'm stuck with them for a while. My Doctor said just make sure they say Bariatric Multivitamins on the bottle and NO gummies. So that's what I'm taking.

My doctor gave me the same instructions, I drank 4 Premier Proteins a day ate Jello in the evenings for desert and drank broth for lunch and dinner. I lost 28 pounds in two weeks. It's a good jump start for your wight loss. The Doctor knows what they're doing, just go with it.

I love the Premier Protein drinks I get them at costco for a lower price. My Favorites are the chocolate, vanilla, Cafe latte and in the Fall the pumpkin spice. I feel for you because luckily for me, I really enjoy them. You can always eat Protein the old fashion way with chicken and fish.

Hi, my Surgeon isn't in the directory. His name is Dr. Stanley Rodgers at University of California San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF). Could you add him so I can update my profile.

Stay the course. I've had a week were I only lost a pound then the next week I lost eight. Did nothing different! Trust the process and follow the doctors instructions. That's my advice.

I love crystal light, drink it every day. I drank it for years before my surgery and have never had a problem.
Heather13, I see you're from SF, did you get your Surgery done at UCSF? If so they never told me not to drink Crystal light?
