  1. I'm in my 60's so don't expect my skin to bounce back to when I was 40. I'm planning on surgery at some point for some part of my body. My face and neck are what I'm worried about.
  2. Wonderful!
  3. I called my doctor's office after10 days and they approved me to move to the puree stage.
  4. They didn't weigh me when I went to the hospital so my last weigh-in with the doctor was about 3 weeks before surgery.
  5. If you are underage, where are your parents?
  6. I didn't need anything but my toothbrush/toothpaste, phone and charger. I didn't need gas x or PJ's, pillows or blankets or a change of clothes. You can go home in what you wore to the hospital. They give you non slip socks so you don't need slippers either. I did bring a book but too tired to read.
  7. I'm wondering what amount of vit D3, B12 and calcium citrate people were told to take daily for life? And how often do you get labs done? Thanks.
  8. Nope, not OK. One slip leads to another.
  9. Can you share the surgeon or the hospital name? Maybe someone here knows something.
  10. I was able to take all my meds immediately after. It wasn't a problem at all.
  11. My favorite Chinese restaurant is closing forever and I want to get something before they do since they won't re-open somewhere else. I'm 3 months out and was going to wait awhile to have Chinese food, but can't. What do people suggest I order? Just get what I like and eat a small amount or is there a low cal dish? Is an egg roll totally a no-no?
  12. That doesn't sound like enough food. I have about 3 oz of chicken and 1/2 cup of veggies for dinner and losing consistently.
  13. After 8 weeks I got the OK to eat fruits and veggies.
  14. I won't chance it. It's best if I just never eat certain foods again.
  15. Do you have to register for that site to work? It didn't work for me.
  16. The binder moved around when I walked and it opened an incision so be careful.
  17. See a doctor. Vits won't get you pregnant.
  18. I added shrimp or chicken with different veggies, making kind of a stir-fly. I added some avocado to a sliced egg and maybe some cheddar cheese and my tuna in the packets and added powdered peanut butter to my chocolate protein shakes to change the flavor. I increased the amount of chicken from about 2 oz to 4 oz. Same with the chicken. I haven't added any beef yet. good luck
  19. Try changing up the foods you eat. I was eating the same things for a couple of weeks and when I added some new foods, added a 100 calories to my diet and changed things up, then I saw a good loss over the next weeks.
  20. I'm 65 and just had it done. I was supposed to have it done 10 years ago but two weeks before surgery, while getting all my doctors appointments taken care of, they found breast cancer so had to deal with that. Then I moved and needed a pacemaker, But I feel great. I didn't have one side effect or problem from the surgery or after. I've asked myself if they actually did anything, then I see the incisions. I've waited so long for this that I'm going to do everything I can to be successful and be the active person I am supposed to be.
  21. Michigan's gyms are closed. i wouldn't go back yet anyway.
