  1. Hi, I opened up this forum because maybe I can find someone here who understands or probably been through the same. Before my WLS i was an extremely happy person. After my WLS i am extremely unmotivated, sad, I tend to have out burst, I cant seem to socialize, at times a bit bitter, and lets not forget EXTREMELY INSECURE. I kept hoping as months passed it would get better but it hasn't its probably worst. I began seeking help and going to therapy 2 weeks ago, I just want to know if anyone else felt like this and how they dealt with it and how long does this feeling last. Thank you

    Fatigue!!!

Im 5 months post op. I still have this problem from time to time. At times I cant sleep at all and others All i do is sleep. I tried it all intaking more protein till i went in for blood work and found out i have a really bad Iron deficiency and my hemoglobins are really low as well. I advice anyone with this to continue getting blood work even after the 3 month check up because I was literally forcing myself to eat more to see if i boosted my energy and none of it was working now is that i'm getting a little more because we are targeting the problem.

Tried of not being able to go!

When I first got mine I was like that probably the first two months. What i saw that helped me a bit was greek yogurt i would add some chia seeds to it. Try that it worked for me. Hopefully it does for you. I still struggle a bit but not as bad I probably go two or three times a week now and im going on 5 months post op
