  1. It's so crazy to me how different the surgeons do things. I was sipping as soon as I was awake, and walking. And didn't need a leak test and they let me go home a couple hours
  2. Yes I can barely see my phone too! Or read or work. Kinda sucks. But it's from the scopalamine patch.. it dilates your pupils like they do at the eye doctor and makes things blurry. I can see the tv fine and if I take my glasses off I can read up close. But I'm so bored ! Haha
  3. I've been up and walking as much as I can. But I can't pass gas yet and they and they won't let me go until then ugh Good luck at home !
  4. Thank you! Glad to hear you're doing well too!
  5. They don't do those here unless there's a reason I guess?
  6. Actually in very little pain. Haven't had any meds, but maybe to sleep. Slated go home tomorrow after lunch fingers crossed!
  7. A could hours out from RNY and already up and walking and got 8 ouches of fluid in so far and a little jello feel great just tired. So tired
  8. Good luck! I'll see you on the flip side!
  9. Surgery tomorrow morning and I've spent all weekend like spring cleaning - scrubbing grout, changing dining room decor, rearranging furniture, going through clothes (three huge donation pikes and one huge trash bag), organizing cabinets that were pretty organized haha. I feel like I'm nesting or something!
  10. Yeah I have a hard time with the thickness of and aftertaste of premier. Fairlife is legit amazing. You can get it at most stores !
  11. Have you tried the fairlife core? It literally tastes like a milkshake
  12. Thanks! Happy to help along the way, reach out whenever!
  13. Welcome! My RNY is on Monday so I'm kinda new too !
  14. Ugh I hope you feel better soon! Did they give you an ab binder to help? People swear by them. I am packing my old one from the tummy tuck in my bag just in case they don't give me one.
  15. Luckily I'm one of the few who has a surgeon who thinks the liquid pre-op diet is archaic so I've been following low carb low fat no sugar or booze. Today was the first day I had energy and of course that goes away on Monday after surgery haha!
  16. Oh and they're exactly like you're describing, fruity, light, just like having a juice or something. And love the flavors - just had an iced tea one !
  17. Have you tried Syntax Nectar? It's the only protein I can stand. I get the variety pack on Amazon. The flavors are so good and not chalky.
  18. Amazon prime is a gift from the goddesses lol
  19. That's so reassuring! And yes I still have my ab binder from the tummy tuck and have it in my hospital bag just in case they don't have one for me! Thanks for taking the time to reply. You've helped my poor nerves
  20. I would definitely say nothing by mouth after midnight. They told me a small sip to take my pill in the morning
  21. Okay that makes me feel a little better, thanks! Glad you're doing so well! I'm a good patient and will walk and be compliant and handle pain well so I hope that helps
  22. Just push through and walk as much as you can. That's what helped me after my abdominal reconstruction. And don't be shy asking for pain meds!
