  2. We have a lot in common! I was sleeved on March 3, 2020. Starting weight was 254 and got down to 161 but have crept back up to 168 and have been comfort eating surgery deserts for about a week now. Am so nervous about that that I reinstalled this app after having been away for months. Let’s support each other in keeping this weight off for good! I read last night that some people set a danger weight where if they reach that, it’s a serious sign to get moving and back to healthy eating.

  6. Move forward, but make sure you only have approved foods in your house and avoid triggering situations (e.g. in and out of the grocery store/pharmacy instead of browsing).
  7. Hi Everyone - March 3rd sleeve here. Turns out I am allergic to the incision glue and for three days I have been itching and burning like crazy! Taking benedryl and 1% hydrocortisone. Good news is I transitioned to smooth textures today. Ate 1/4 c egg whites for breakfast and 3 oz. firm teriyaki Wildwood tofu for lunch. Was awesome to chew again. Didn’t feel full either meal, which scares me a bit because I still have no idea when to quit eating.
  8. I feel you big time. VSG on 3/3, and I’m grumpy because I want to EAT. I’m craving a giant portion of pad thai and spring rolls. Wish I could wake up tomorrow and have those comfort cravings vanish. BTW - is anyone in Boston? Would love local support buddies.
  9. Hi Fellow March 3 Sleevers - it’s comforting to read your posts. I can relate to the full time hydration and protein shake challenge. My program sounds like it’s a lot stricter (The Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston). I’m on clear fluids and shakes until 3/13, which is smooth foods, and a very limited list of options for those. Struggling with head hunger and feelings of deprivation and wanting greasy food. Can anyone relate? Bright side - I have a ton of energy and have been able to get outside and walk a couple of days in a row. Insomnia big time. When do you all go back to work? I fortunately have until April 6.

  12. I did! March 3 - in the middle of a ten day fluids+shakes. Having head cravings (food addition!) for onion rings, pizza, and cheeseburgers. Hoping that subsides.

  14. 4 Days Post-op question - is anyone else waking up in the middle of the night thirsty? I know I’m supposed to be sipping fluids and shakes all day, but what about overnight?
  15. Yep - sleeve surgery on March 3.
  16. Same here! Are you longing for onion rings/cheeseburgers/pizza like I am? I honestly didn’t expect that would be happening.
