  1. No I haven’t. I loved the premier protein before surgery so I never tried anything after I found that. But I will definitely give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!
  2. I will try that. Thanks for the suggestion!
  3. I am really just focusing on getting all my fluids in. I do a lot of crystal light with water. I have been struggling with the protein piece of it. The premier protein shakes make me sick to my stomach. I try to get 1 shake in and make up the rest of the protein with Greek yogurt. As far as exercise I am not doing anything more than walking my dog in our neighborhood. I wouldn’t stress about being stuck I’ve heard that the 3-week stall is very common.
  4. 11 days post op and down 22lbs and back in the 100’s for the first time in years. I’m in shock. I still have a long way to go but I’m so happy right now. I won’t lie I have moments where I question my decision because this is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I know I’m doing this to live a long healthy life.
  5. Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well! I am officially 8 days post op and feeling pretty good! Am down 20lbs from the start of my 1 week pre op liquid diet which is insane to me! I am going back to work on Monday and I actually can’t wait. I love my house but I’m getting sick of it to be honest. Good luck to everyone starting their journeys and congrats to everyone post op!
  6. I didn’t end up throwing up thankfully. They gave me medication for the nausea that helped a lot. I don’t have a lot of pain. Just a bit of pressure. I would say pain is maybe a 3-10
  7. Surgery went well yesterday. A little nausea when I woke up in recovery but other than that I can’t complain. Finally got some liquids in today. I was discharged a little while ago and now I’m home recovering. Good luck to anyone who’s surgery is coming up you got this! and congratulations to anyone who’s already had it!
  8. I’m having surgery tomorrow morning 8:30am! It seems I’ve developed a stress rash. Has this happened to anyone else? I don’t even feel stressed.
  9. Hi everyone! I am having VSG on January 15! I am having my procedure done in Lancaster, PA by Dr. McPhee. I’m so excited and nervous at the same time. Feel free to follow my journey on Instagram Journeyytovsg
