  12. Yea sweetie walking. Some of the air that they fill our abdominal cavity with will work it’s way to our intestines to be passed but most of has to just absorb into our body. They fill our cavity with air not out intestines. So passing gas may not help much. (Even though my NP jokingly says she lets patients believe gas x works as long as it “helps” them she is fine with it) it took me a while to really start feeling normal again I would say day 5 or 6 was my second curve I turned. This was my first surgery idk if it’s yours? The hardness you may be feeling a healing bridge. Just ur body protecting your new baby stomach. :) our bodies are so amazing. So listen to what it says. Keep up on ur pain meds. Or Tylenol and rest as much as you can. Let your body heal. How is your water intake and protein coming along?
  13. I was kind of miserable the first night of surgery. Note it was also my very first surgery so I had no idea what to expect. But I know my oxygen kept going down to like 88. And they want is at 93 or higher because it helps us heal. So I’m glad I had that one night hospital stay.
  14. I take the injections. They r simple and don’t hurt. I inject them in my stomach the fattiest part the needles r tiny tiny and there isn’t much medicine. Some days the medicine kind of burns and some days it doesn’t? The burn isn’t bad but the injection doesn’t hurt from the actual needle.
  15. Omg I am so sorry that happened. My well wishes for you!!!! I hope you get to healing fast!!!
  16. It definitely gets better day 3. That’s when I turned the corner. Even though a week plus one day out I’m still a little sore. But day 3 was when I could kind of get my life together again. Hope you feel better soon!!!
  17. You should try “cloud bread” recipes!!! They r low carb!!
  18. I think there is an option to ask questions and you can email the team maybe they can split it up? Also I think bariatric mindset offers some free courses for our head hunger and meditation ?
  19. I am not soliciting? I don’t get paid for this? It’s just a hood program I wanted to share? Take ur miserable comments else where. Some people may need help with this journey. And they shouldn’t be afraid or lost finding it.
  20. Good luck and wishing for a speedy recovery
  21. So glad you feeling better!!! The nausea is rough at the beginning. With you new tummy. But it’s so worth it.
  22. Three huge influences in Bariatric Surgery have come together and made an amazing program!! I am already signed up! I will attach the link and you can read all about it. It covers three huge factors from three totally different prospective.
1. Our mindset ( our mind hunger)
2. Our eating lifestyle and cooking
3. Our fitness (safe and effective)

I will be starting personal training with Geoff here in Denver at my 6 weeks mark. He is referred by my surgeon which is a surgeon of excellence and also a teacher of Batiatric surgery to many countries.

Because I know we all need it and what the best results the best long term outcome.
