Hi, I have some clothes that were too small before surgery, but I'm only 2weeks post op, and I'm really looking forward to wearing them in the future, in my country, getting clothes at size 48 is almost impossible, so that was a big problem for me, hopefully in the next 6 months or so, I will be able to wear normal sized clothes again. Looking to completely revamp my style. 😀😀

Thanks a lot bro, I'll pm you any questions o have, thanks for being my mentor, life's a rollercoaster ride. There's always the ups and downs. But now I am actually doing fine financially. Started up a recording studio in India. Your absolutely right about the tool thing, there's just so much potential here and I'd hate to see it go down the drain myself. Thanks for the support.

Wow Rough road you have traveled. This is the first time I have ever posted something like this. I am concerned that you have a tool and have no clue how to use it. Really focus on the diet, Vitamins and minerals! Take it slow and easy and check in here all the time.
You can get a buddy on here to help you - In fact due to all your bad luck I will volunteer to help and mentor you. Kinda wanted to wait a little longer but I can help you out PM me any questions you need. There are great people here who can answer what I can not
As for Stalls stop focusing on the negatives, You stay on plan and this is a journey not a sprint! Stalls will happen but Stalls will break also

That is insane, honestly. It's like not even looking at the same person anymore (in a good way).

Here's a visual (the "after" picture was taken this past January, waist measurement that day was 26" (I'm a tiny bit smaller in the waist area now as my TT swelling has gone down since....)

Thanks, and that waist reduction that you experienced is brilliant, I'm hoping to be on that same range, as a matter of fact, im 48 right now and im happy if I come down to 38, lesser than that would also be acceptable for me, I saw a post about a another man in this website, says that he came down 12 sizes, and I was impressed.

Hi, I'm 2 weeks post op and I remember after my surgery, I mean immediately after, I had shortness of breathing, and like a sharp pain when I took a deep breath, my brother did this same surgery 5 years back and he said it was the anesthesia that shrinks your lungs for an initial period, but now its completely gone and that spirometer really helps, right after surgery I was only able to get 2 balls in the air, now I can get all 3, oh and right after surgery, I also had this like bad back pain which also went overtime, but man, it actually ended up fixing my back problems drastically, now I feel so good. Just hang in there, oh and this is very important, breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth, if you don't take deep breaths, nothing will change, it will just be the same.

I had surgery 11/19 so about 17 months ago and have changed a lot over that time. I’ve picked up new interests and hobbies and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and would like to share what they are into?
I was really getting into finding local parks with good walking trails and biking until winter hit. I found myself a bit bored so I started redecorating and updating my house, which has now lead to me refinishing and or painting everything in my path lol. It keeps me busy it’s really fun and I’m constantly moving. I’m not a super artistic person but I’m having fun with this. Here is a kids desk I fixed up, I got the desk for free so I decided to do something fun with it. Maybe I can haul it up to Canada and give it to my 7 month old Granddaughter!

If you want to share or discuss anything you are into, fashion, cooking, nutrition, decorating, sports, exercise, books, art, etc., please jump in!

I’m so glad people are chiming in, I’ve never started a thread before. I’m glad I’m not the only one finding new things to do, experience and discover. Post pictures if you can!

I am the type of person who needs to be busy and have something to do. I have ADHD and can get derailed if I don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. I’ve done a bunch of projects the past few months, however, I’m not going to hog the thread and post them all, but I just finished this one today that I’m pretty proud of.

We bought this roll top desk 18 years ago when we lived in a craftsman home, it’s just been in storage so I dug it out and updated it.

My most "significant" new interests/hobbies would be running. I went from basically not moving to running a minimum of 5km a day. It started off as something I made myself do to supplement my weight loss efforts, but then it turned into something I genuinely love and look forward to doing.
I find myself much more willing and eager to try out new things/experiences post-WLS, too many to list, but here are some things that I tried out and developed a big enough affection for that I continue to do them regularly.
Cooking...weird because I don't eat any of my more elaborate creations. (I mostly stick to salads for myself)..I just enjoy making meals, plating them and watching others enjoy it, LOL. Indoor rock climbing/bouldering Clothes shopping (this is going to be the death of me) ...and my latest obsession...TAP DANCING!! Here are my new tap kicks that came in the mail just over a week ago. I can't wait to try them out for reals. As I'm still in plastics post-op recovery, I haven't gone to class for about a month, so these babies are only seeing some seated practice footwork. I'm impatient to be cleared for regular exercise so I can go back to class

This was one of my FAVOURITE past times during weight loss phase! I organized ALL my "skinny" and "less fat" clothes by size in sections of my closet and I would go in every week or so and try on clothes in the next smaller sized section, then give myself a self-five when they fit, and maybe dance around a bit.
Eventually they all moved to another room and formed into that giant pile of clothes that I'm too lazy to sort.
I suspect like many of us, you will start to love shopping again! Come check us out/join us on the OOTD thread:
