  1. Stop overeating and eating the wrong things.
  2. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago
  3. To give your body a opportunity to digest it better. When I have eaten and drank at the same time, my stomach can cause a dump . Where food enters your intestines too fast. And by drinking when you eat, water or the liquid you consumed takes up alot of space where nutritious food could've been. So you'll lose nutrition that way
  4. It will work as long as you trust the tool , bypass or whatever, and trusting in the process. There will be times that you'll go through plateaus but losing weight after bariatric surgery is like a staircase . You'll lose weight for a certain amount of time and then you'll plateau. Then vice versa . And dont weigh yourself everyday , only once a week otherwise you'll cause yourself disappointment for no reason. Another thing , this lifelong change you'll need to be absolutely disciplined on eating healthy forever. If you decide to cheat , your body will make you pay for it trust me. If you have any questions about the bypass, I'm 2.5 months post op
  5. Dont be in a rush and stressing yourself out. When I was TTCing with pcos back in 2013 I started having sex for fun so I wouldnt stress. Make the point of having sex is to have fun without using contraceptives. This makes it better. Have you been to your gyn to get screened for pcos? I took metformin for it and got pregnant the next cycle . Goodluck
  6. I dumped a few times but not intentionally
  7. My back is hurting constantly where my stomach would be at but on my backside. Its constant, annoying, and hurts 24/7. Has anybody dealt with this problem? I'm 2.5 months post op bypass and I've lost 51lbs
  8. At least I know I'm not alone now haha
  9. Im wondering what preworkout foods are good to eat before hitting the gym? I went today and my muscles acted like they werent ready? and my weightlifting was slow to increase today so im thinking more carbs ? or do i need more protein beforehand? i know carbs are the energy source
  10. thanks yall. I had a wrap this morning and it went down with no problems the second time in a row. I feel great eating these. And ill be heading to the gym later....
  11. thanks, i really like the wraps now than before , because back then i was a cheeseburger addict haha
  12. Ok so i was thinking of making myself a healthy meat wrap with butter lettuce, easy melt cheese, and black Forrest Ham. I then made the wrap out of 1 tortilla and i was only able to eat half taking my time with chewing good. I felt better eating this tortilla wrap than with the sandwhich i had the other day . I guess its because its thinner? I have also heard of other substitutes you can buy that are egg related bread wraps? or do you have one you recommend for me to buy somewhere? I feel pretty great after eating it and i did alot of yard work cleaning up garden beds today . thanks, and im finally out of this plateau. I guess i needed some carbs to kick it! ?
  13. its absolutely normal to feel that way, your body is in shock right now because it doesnt have the same intake of calories and carbs like you were before. I slept on and off most of the time the first 3 weeks . Its a normal adjustment , sometimes even walking around the house had me exhausted before. totally normal!
  14. In my honest opinion, doctors are trained off of the universal scale to height measurements. This , however, doesnt prove the "true" healthy weight for YOU. I am also large build and have always been overweight most of my life. I plan on having my weight at 150 is my goal. if a doctor tried to tell me that it was too low , i would tell them to shove it! that is just me . nobody was made with the same structures. For example like in genetics, my skeleton is not the exact same as yours and i have muscle mass already.Goodluck!
  15. I havent had any labs done because I'm uninsured and a student
  16. Omg me too! I was sitting on this comfy couch and when I got up my a** hurt
  17. Yes, I eat meat mostly and I like to have a protein shake at night
  18. Call your surgery center and PCP .
  19. They dont take anything out. Your natural stomach is stapled shut from the top and is fixated to your body inside. What is left of your new "stoma stomach" is usually enough for 1 to 2 oz. of food.
  20. I'm two months post op and I had my surgery in Tijuana Mexico. No complications at all!
  21. Ok I have only shed some hair, I'm 2 months post op, and I have notice my hair feels dry and coarse? Also my skin always itches and I think it's because of dry skin ? Anybody else?
  22. I'm 2 months post op and I been losing weight at a snail's pace
