  1. My surgery is scheduled for December 4. I’m having a gastric bypass. I’ve lost 15 lbs in one week on the liquid diet which seems like a lot. Yesterday was the worst day so far. I’m exhausted and didn’t sleep well last night. I had to get up at 3am to eat a sugar free jello because I was so hungry. I’m allowed 5 protein shakes a day. Along with sugar free jello and broth. I do not feel well. I’m constantly drinking water and constantly peeing. It’s like I can’t catch up with the dehydration. I know I have only one more week but I feel terrible. Thinking of calling the nurse practitioner on Friday - I know I should be hungry but I feel off. Any insights or advice? Thanks
  2. Yes. This is the same comment you provided last week when I posted about having difficulties with the diet. Who am I having sex with? And how much does/can one human sleep? I very much understand what this is for-I’m posting about the difficulties I’m experiencing today.
  3. But I think you’re onto something with Keto flu. I googled description and that sounds about right excluding cramps.
  4. It’s just a feeling of being off. Not a cold. Between everything I’m drinking, it might be 96 oz but I’m not trying to drink that much. As it is, I’m in the bathroom multiple times an hour. My pee is very light. Sometimes completely clear.
  5. And I am so hungry. I’ve been cheating and eating slices of organic deli turkey. Can’t help myself😩

RNY scheduled for Dec 4. Day 4 of liquid diet...

Thanks for the input. It’s two weeks and I wish it was as simple as to stop thinking about food. 10 hours of sleep is enough for any human which is what I’m getting. I am trying to be active, take walks etc. I’m trying to hang in there. Thanks again-it is a moment in time and to your point-I will be healthier and happier.
