  4. Hey my lovelies! Has/Does anyone use the vitamin patches? My sleeve surgery date is Dec 9th and I was wondering if I should start off with the vitamin patches instead of pills or liquid. If you have, what are your thoughts? Which brand did you use and where did you get the best price? Thanks

  6. Go under your name and slide down to "TICKERS"
  7. Make sure you take your biotin and vitamins. I didn't have much hair loss when I was banded. But then again I have a ton of hair.

  17. Oh yes, she's a bad chicka chicka I'm a vocalist so music runs a lot of my life.
  18. YOU WIN! Yes I am a huge Joni Mitchell lover. Best female songwriter EVER. And I am seeing, it is a lot different. I still have awesome friends from the first time around. Was hoping that would be the case this time as well. But I will still continue to post here and share my journey. You never know who it will help.
  19. You got this, first just share it with hubby and get your game plan together. Have all your facts ready so when you decide to tell your family you can help ease their minds. When they see you excited, they most likely will be excited. Express how you know they may be scared and you may feel that way sometimes too but you see this as a new journey and would love to have them walk beside you! I have told my core family and this time I that's all I'm telling. I was unbanded in 2012 due to erosion so I've been battling this decision within myself all these years in between. My hubby is FULLY onboard and very supportive. So hubby knows, my son knows, my mother-in-law knows, my sister knows and my two nieces. (My sis and one niece have had surgery Bypass and Sleeve) but it was after i was orginally banded in 2009. I was the first in my family. You got this, I got my Pom Pom's Up for you
  20. Hell errrrbody! When I was banded in 2009 I was on this platform daily and making some pretty awesome friends, pretty fast. LOL It seems this time around I'm a lonely painter living in a box of paints. (bonus points for who knows where I got that from?) I am active, been chatting and looking and responding but it seems pretty quiet for me. Maybe it's just me but I sure do like talking to folk about their experiences, fears, achievements, disappointments, etc. I am being sleeved Dec. 9th, 2019 by Dr. Matthew Metz in Denver Colorado
  21. I come back to this post often to see your updates. Thinking of you! You got this!
  22. I love KimChi, glad to hear you can still have it. I am not sleeved yet but will be soon and kimchi is one of my favs. All kinds, cucumber, radish, etc.
  23. I think it depends on the person as well. I do see his points. I like his videos, but when I had my band I started walking after a month and kept it up and increased as time went on and was totally fine. Lost all my weight in 9 months. I was SO freaking happy. Plan on listening to my doc and my body this time around as well.
