  1. Same. But haven’t even had spotting in forever. Ugh, if it keeps coming I will be sooooo pissed ?
  2. I was so thoroughly annoyed after the initial scare ?
  3. Good to know I’m not alone!! I really didn’t know what to think ?
  4. I haven’t had a visit from my monthly friend in well over 6 months due to being on birth control ( I have be plan on the arm implant). Today I finally had a BM and realized I also have been paid a visit ? why the sudden change? Has this happened to anyone? I was also initially scared shitless cause I had no clue what was going on.
  5. Had 2 (veryyyyyy smalll) BM today. Gonna buy some brown flax seed tomorrow per my NUT and see how it works.
  6. Same, I think it’ll subside.
  7. I’m curious. How many ounces of fluids were you guys able to get down the first few days post op? Today so far I have 9oz. I’m worried I won’t be getting enough. Also what were you able to tolerate?
  8. Oh my gosh!!! This is a story for the books ??? I actually LoLd
  9. So this is a day 3 for me and I’m feeling better than days 1&2. Much better. I’ve had a hard time sleeping and The thought of drinking anything other than diluted apple juice makes me cringe. I definitely know I don’t want anything hot, only cold stuff. I’m not sure what else I might want other than the apple juice..
  10. Surgery is in the morning. Is it weird that I’m kinda bummed that I don’t have a surgery twin on the forum? Anyway, I’m so nervous and excited at the same time. I think more excited though. I’m about to drink some broth, take my meds and go to bed. See you all on the other side!
  11. Yes, I was thinking infused water too. It’s worth a shot!
  12. maybe adding some crystal light to your water for flavor wil help!
  13. Goodnesss yes, exactly. I feel such an overwhelming need to make sure everything is good to go beforehand. But I think you're right I'll have some help along they way, so maybe all isn't bad. I'll try to keep reminding myself.
  14. My anxiety is SO ON. I have had the most stressful 2 weeks and I feel so unprepared. I am an over-planner and over-prepare for everything and things aren't currently going as planned so im totally freaking out. I had to take five minutes to meditate earlier today cause I felt like I was going to lose it. Crazy thing is I'm not really too nervous about the procedure itself- just everything being in order. Sigh. I wish I wasn't such a neat freak/perfectionist.
  15. I have a desk job as well. I’m scheduled for the 21st and I put in for 2 weeks off. I asked my friend who had the sleeve done a couple years ago and he said 2 weeks should be fine for a desk job.
  16. That all sounds soooo good !!
  17. Im definitely buying some tomorrow!! I stuck it out and drank water
  18. I went to the bathroom pretty bad today... and I'm having a really hard time with the mind games. I want something sweet SO BAD. But I've started a low carb pre-op diet.
  19. I was happy it was only one day- two days isnt bad either!! The medication is standard for him
  20. So I had my pre-op appointment earlier todat. My surgeon said the week before to eat low carb and the day before surgery i'll be doing liquids. Not bad at all in my opinion! He also prescribed a drug for nerve pain that I have to take the day before to minimize pain post-op.
  21. I ened up asking: -How long the procedure takes -How long my stay will be at the hospital -What the likelihood of developing GERD is -Questions about the drug he prescribed for me to take the day before (i.e. what it does)
