I'm no help but this post makes me feel better. I'm in the same exact boat. My right side hurts so bad through to my back. I think the gas is out but I haven't pooped since before surgery. I'm swollen and grumpy lol.

With greatest respect, this thread is meant for people with LAP Bands. We have had too many instances of people coming here and criticizing the procedure. I wish you well on your journey, but we are the ones living with the band. We are here for support, not criticism.

I think there are more of us slow losers than the people that come on here and say " I just lost 50 pounds in two months" it's just that we fixate on those posts and wish we were them..
I know it's hard when people ask everyday " how much have you lost now" and some of them ask everyday! 0_o

Look, if you KNOW what's going on = bad habits are creeping back, then you KNOW what to do. Hon, this happens at ANY age, not cuz you're an older VSG girl. Quit cheatin. Work your honeymoon and you will get back to bidness. Stay the course!

Don't worry, you're too soon into the post-op process now to worry about weight. Just focus on healing. The weight will come off. Get at least 64 oz of Water each day and 60 g of Protein and just follow the program.
