  1. I don't think it is the surgery either. Must be my age and the weather. But, I have had arthritis since I was 19!
  2. Yesterday I went in and had both my hips injected for Bursitis. Today I am in some pain for sure. Has anyone experienced expanding pain after surgery? I felt so much better until the last month. Maybe it is the weather, I do notice it more when it snows, rains or sleets on us! Any ideas on exercises I can do for Bursitis or hip pain? I don't really want to spend the rest of my life gimping around! Thanks!
  3. My fitness Pal has been encouraging me to eat more. The last few days I have gotten to 1100 calories and FitnessPal tells me if I keep eating like this I will be down 10 pounds in 5 weeks. Giving it a shot since I have been at roughly the same weight for 3 weeks.
  4. I started at 225 with a BMI of 35. I am now at 167 (for several weeks now) and BMI is 27.
  5. Where in the store would I find bitters? Thanks!
  6. Looking good, you really can see a difference!
  7. Hey there, I am a 54 year old married female from Missouri. I have 2 grown boys, a small flock of chickens and a dog. I work part time in a medical office. Always looking for friends and support! Welcome to the forum!
  8. If you already have GERD the better surgery would be the RYN. I had terrible GERD and gastritis because of my first surgery and my surgeon suggested the RYN. I am now off my blood pressure meds, and my heart burn meds! A goof friend of mine had it and is now completely off her diabetic medication! By the way our stats are almost the same, only I am an inch taller.
  9. Thank you so much for the waffle maker ideas, I need to learn to think outside the box, lol. Can't wait to try some of these! Your the best!
  10. Will this be on your site Fluffy? I don't have a waffle maker, wonder if pancakes would do? Looks so good!
  11. I agree! Way to young!
  12. @GreenTealael this ones for you

  15. Ahh Ms.ss, you are one of the ones here that I inspire to be like! I am sorry you are in a funk, they are a terrible thing to go through, in fact I just got over one and I have so much energy I feel kind of manic lol! I hope you get to a better place soon! Hugs and much admiration!
  16. Most of mine have faded away, but my children are 21 and 25.
  17. I couldn't tolerate Lyrica or the weight gain. I basically just take Tylenol and suffer. I find though if I get enough sleep I feel a lot better.
  18. Hello! Well, I hate to say it, but my fibro has not gotten better. I will say that my osteo is much less intense, my knees don't hurt as much for sure. I have bursitis in m hips and that has not changes. For sure I feel so much better than I did at 225! Welcome to the group!
  19. Hi, I am losing at the same rate as you, roughly 14 ish pounds a month. You know something? On my own I could never maintain a constant loss of weight each month. That is what helps keep me going. It may be slow, but slow is better for weight loss. You will keep it off longer, you won't have as much loose skin! Keep up the hard work, and you will be rewarded!
  20. I had no idea I had a gall bladder issue and it didn't show up on any previous tests, but when they got in there they said it was the size of a softball and took it out.
  21. I have rods and screws in my lumbar spine, I was fused in 2017. I didn't have any pain there or other problem areas, I must just be lucky!
