  12. My surgery was on the 9th of September. Today is my one month surgiversary, and I've lost 33.5lbs. It's been a surreal month.
  13. Returning to the thread, today is my one month anniversary and I've lost 33.5lbs. Crazy. It wasn't a pretty journey getting here though, which is why I think I lost so much.
  14. 32lbs my first month, 62 lbs overall. Kinda teary because my body hates iron
  15. Update: Last night after trying to take my antacid medication I ended up puking up stomach acid with a bit of blood in it. Not good. I called my surgeon and nurse and my nurse said this was normal and that something often triggers GERD. I am waiting to hear from my surgeon but he's very lax about stuff like this so far. I'm trying not to panic but I also feel like they won't take any of this serious until my stomach is fully healed or something. @S@ssen@ch, @Angie2.0, and @elcee thank you so much for answering. I've actually had a nightmare of 3 weeks after surgery. It started out with my surgeon accidentally poisoning me and not answering my calls/messages for 1.5 weeks after surgery. I had to report him to the hospital for negligence after I went to the er being unable to keep down any water due to wrong dosage of medication.
  16. Fremont, CA Kaiser here. I met my goal in about 2 months, they called me in for final psych consult and then I was told I would get called to schedule a date soon. If they have anything available that month, they will try to schedule you that month, if not, call a week before the next month and ask to be scheduled. 2 weeks before surgery you'll meet with your surgeon, then a week before surgery they will tell you when you should come to OR.
  17. Hey y'all, so I tried searching on here for an answer but found nothing. I had surgery three weeks ago, and for the last three days I've had constant issues with excess saliva and mucus in my mouth. I've tried no dairy, alkaline water, and returning to liquids, but to no avail. One day I also had heartburn but it was from some tea I had. I don't really know what to do as even water causes me to foam up and have to spit into a cup! Today I'm trying to take a break from liquids (after getting 64 oz in) and haven't had solid food, just protein shakes. I am going to reach out to my doctor about this but I have no idea what is causing this. Any ideas?
  18. I also had surgery on the 9th of September, and as of the 23rd of September (2 weeks) I've lost 24 lbs. It really does depend on a lot of factors, though, such as your height, weight, metabolism, exercise level, amount you take in, etc.

  20. Down 54 lbs since starting the process towards weight loss surgery...24 lbs was lost in the last two weeks since my surgery on September 9th.. face progress!
  21. I was sleeved on September 9th, so two weeks today exactly! The first 1.5 weeks were literal hell on Earth, I had quite a few issues with medication and problems with my doctor, but it's been 100% worth it. I am cleared to eat eggs and meats finally, I can go swimming, and I walked 1.5 miles today and only slightly felt like I was going do die from exhaustion and fatigue! Oh, and I'm down 24 lbs in 2 weeks. That's pretty great.
