  1. @Puffy-no-more you got this!!!
  2. I'm on day 3...in addition to liquids I can have either 2 yogurts or 1 yogurt and 1 protein bar. Not terrible so far but 7 days to go and then 2 days in clear liquids only!! This group is keeping me going, I love to check in on everyone's progress and encouragement. Everyone here rocks, thanks February Surgery Pals. Good Luck!
  3. Good luck, keep us posted!
  4. That's encouraging, thank you JettK!
  5. Another question for February sleevers...how much time did your surgeon recommend taking off work? Mine said two weeks. I'm going to take 7 days completely off (surgery on a Thurs, so 9 days no work, just rest) and then work from home the following week (14 days total at home.) I hope that is enough time to heal before returning to the office. I am mostly at a desk behind a computer all day, so not too strenuous. Thoughts?
  6. Good to hear!! Keep up the good work! I'm in countdown mode to 2/20...
  7. Shots for 7 days for me, I guess better safe than sorry. I think you're doing it right...move, move, move. How is everything else going for you?
  8. I had my PreOp meeting with the surgeon yesterday and started my PreOp diet today, so far so good. Does anyone else have to do lovenox injections after surgery? That was something that I found out that I didn't expect.
  9. I'm scheduled for the sleeve on 2/20, my PreOp appointment is today! I understand exactly where you ate coming from, as I am not telling anyone other than my husband and mother. It's nice to see all the people on here sharing their stories and tips. It's even good to read about the struggles,we'll all have some! Good luck to you on this adventure!
  10. Good luck!! I'm sure you'll do great.
  11. How long did they say you have to stay in the hospital? I am getting the vsg...hoping for just one night.
  12. That's not too bad at all!!! Great idea to keep the nerve pain down, all surgeons should do that. Good luck[emoji3]
  13. I was told mine has to come out during surgery (vsg on 2/20), as they discovered stones and inflammation on my abdominal ultrasound. Does anyone know if it makes for longer recovery time or if recovery is different when gallbladder is also removed?
  14. Good luck! I'm the 20th. Keep us posted [emoji3]
  15. Good luck, keep us posted!!!
  16. @ doublepau when will you start your pre op diet? (if you have one) My pre-op appointment is 2/7 so I assume I be be starting then or shortly thereafter.
  17. It's nice to have someone with a similar date, looking forward to hearing your updates!
  18. February 20th! I have been "stalking" this site for months now and finally have a concrete date to look forward to so I figured I would share. Good luck to my fellow February sleevers (and other procedures :))!!
