ABC - December chat
What I've learned so far: That I need to work with my band and pay attention to what it likes and doesn't like. example: it doesn't like bread... so stop trying to eat it! That it's my friend and it's doing it's job. Even though you now eat small amounts you still need to pay attention to what that small ammount is. That I'm grateful that I did this every day. That it's a slow process and I'll get there!:clap2:

Any Bookworms out there??
Right now I"m reading For One More Day by Mitch Albom. He's my favorite Author. I've loved "Tuesdays with Morrie" and "the five people you meet in heaven" by him. Really inspirational and leaves you with things to think about.

The Balls On Some People!!!
What is that supposed to mean? I dated for a few years on a few online dating sites before I met my husband. We met on Yahoo personals. I wasn't honest about my weight when I first started dating on them but then decided "What the heck... why do I want someone that doesn't like me for ME!" so I posted pictures full body and got several replies. I wasn't short on dates. I met my husband in July of 2004 and we were inseperable. He moved in with me in September. We became engaged in November and were married in December. This December 18th will be our 2 year wedding anniversary. My friends weren't kidding when they told me marriage is work. It is work but it's so worth it. I get very emotional still when I think about how he's always there for me and always will be unconditionally. I'm very thankful for online personals! Hang in there! I went through duds before I found my man. Justs ignore the idiot that left you that msg. He'll end up with some emotionless eye candy that takes him for every cent he owns and he'll deserve it all!

Overweight Teens in America on CBS News
I totally agree Mandy. I haven't seen the lion commercial. I just don't feel people understand that it's not even close to as drastic as gastric bypass.

Anyone know any holistic cancer treatments??
What is Reiki?

Anyone know any holistic cancer treatments??
marijuana they say makes cancer patients very comfortable. Melissa Etheridge swore by it. I know she's now in remission. I wish my mom had done that but she was VERY against illegal drugs. I know the cancer center of america in Chicago is very into holistic treatment.

Overweight Teens in America on CBS News
Did anybody see that news story with Katie Couric last night? They were doing a three part segment about teen's and obesity in america and yesterday was part 2 and they showed two teens that got lapband and how well it worked for them but they didn't go into enough specifics in my opinion. They did state though that it's reversible but at the end Katie is like "that seems pretty drastic! but I guess it works for them"

ABC ~ November Chat
Brandy...when do you wanna get together? I'm totally up for it. I burst out laughing at the hold hair in the stall comment. hahaha. I need to start working out. I threw up so much over the weekend that on Monday morning I was very depressed about it. I thought about the past week or so and realize that I'm trying to get away with eating things that I just can't eat anymore. sometimes I can..but most of the time I can't. Bread just is a no go for me now. So Monday morning I decided to conciously think about the choices I'm making and so I've been really careful about what I eat and how I eat it and I haven't thrown up since Sunday night. almost THREE days with no PBing! it's such sweet relief. I think I'm starting to figure this out!

ABC ~ November Chat
since my third fill I've been throwing up atleast once or twice every day. Things I can eat today I can't eat tomorrow. It's annoying as hell. I can't eat early in the day but late at night I can, which bugs me because I find myself pigging out at night because I know I won't beable to eat again until the next late afternoon. UGH!!! I threw up twice at thanksgiving dinner. My family was like "there she goes again" at dessert when I got up just to go pee. How embarrassing! Guess I'm just frustrated. I'll get over it. You're all doing so great. I admire you!

Support Group Fees?????????????!$!$#$#$%
the first surgeon I chose was awesome and I went through everything I needed and then found out there was an $800 support group fee due before surgery. I couldn't come up with that in 2 weeks so I had to drop out of the program. I then started going to seminars again and found a doctor I LOVE and the support groups are FREE! yay!!!

How much money do you carry with you?
I figured it might be false but I could see something like that happening. I never thought about it before. After reading that email though I figured that maybe I'd think twice in the future about weither the money is worth it that the person is claiming to have found on the ground.

Freecycle Do you?
I have belonged to freecycle for about 2 years now. I got one of my doggies on freecycle. I also got concert tickets to see Social Distortion off there from a couple who won them on the radio but couldn't go. I have gotten file cabinets off there. I've given away a truck topper and bed liner on there. Oh and I also got a queen size box spring on there. The only bad experience I had was I was trying to find a christmas tree stand and a guy that lives in a bad area of town had one but he was insisting that I come pick it up without my husband which freaked me out so I was a NO SHOW. I love my doggy though!

How much money do you carry with you?
I don't usually send these e-mails to people but true or not it is something interesting and people should think about and be aware of. This was emailed to me. -Josette Know how much money you are carrying! You will see why as you read! Be sure every lady is aware of this M.O. Share with it your wife and daughters. Know what money you are carrying... This was the first I have heard of a scheme like this and I wanted to pass it along. Criminals are coming up with craftier, less threatening methods of attack, so we have to be extra cautious. Read on*. I live in Alexandria, VA, but I often work in Lafayette, LA, staying with friends when I'm there. As you know from America's Most Wanted TV program, as well as the news media, there is a serial killer in the Lafayette area. I just want to let you know about an "incident" that happened to me a few weeks ago, and could have been deadly. At first I didn't go to the police or anyone with it because I didn't realize how serious this encounter was. But since I work in a jail and I told a few people about it, it wasn't long before I was paraded into Internal Affairs to tell them my story. It was approximately 5:15 A.M. in Opelousas, La. I had stayed with a friend there and was on my way to work. I stopped at the Exxon/Blimpie station to get gas. I got $10 gas and a Diet Coke. I took into the store two $5 bills and one $1 bill (just enough to get my stuff). As I pulled away from the store, a man approached my truck from the back side of the store (an unlit area). He was an "approachable-looking" man (clean cut, clean shaven, dressed well, etc.). He walked up to my window and knocked. Since I'm very paranoid and "always looking for the rapist or killer," I didn't open the window. I just asked what he wanted. He raised a $5 bill to my window and said, "You dropped this. " Since I knew I had gone into the store with a certain amount of money, I knew I didn't drop it. When I told him it wasn't mine, he began hitting the window and door, screaming at me to open my door, and insisting that I had dropped the money! At that point, I just drove away as fast as I could. After talking to the Internal Affairs Department and describing the man I saw, and the way he escalated from calm and polite to angry and volatile....it was determined that I could have possibly encountered the serial killer myself. Up to this point, it had been unclear as to how he had gained access to his victims, since there has been no evidence of forced entry into victim's homes, cars, etc. And the fact that he has been attacking in the daytime, when women are less likely to have their guard up, means he is pretty BOLD. So think about it...what gesture is nicer than returning money to someone that dropped it??? How many times would you have opened your window (or door) to get your money and say thank you.... because if the person is kind enough to return something to you, then he can't really be a threat....can he??? Please be cautious! This might not have been the serial killer... but anyone that gets that angry over someone not accepting money from them, can't have honorable intentions. The most important thing to note is that his reaction was NOT WHAT I EXPECTED! A total surprise! But what might have happened if I had opened my door? I shudder to think! Forward this to everyone you know...maybe they can be as fortunate as I was! P.S. Ladies, really DO forward this to EVERYONE you know. Even if this man wasn't a serial killer, he looked nice, he seemed polite, he was apparently doing an act of kindness, but HE WAS NOT A NICE PERSON! Men send it to all the women in your life. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. Make it a good one! Please forward to anyone you think might benefit from this story.

Now this morning I'm so tight that I decided to have a small glass of chocolate milk for Breakfast and it got stuck and I threw it up. But Water went down fine. What's up with that??? They're both liquid! Any idea's? By the way, you're all looking GREAT!!! Candy, your face is slimer already! Keep up the great work!
