Falling apart...i am a failure!
Soooo.....Monday is a new day. I am starting fresh. I will walk 20 to 30 minutes ( far fetched from the 75 minute workout I use to do) I will drink my water, and eat healthy. I bought sugar free choco mix for my cholocate addiction. I will take one day at a time. I am getting my tonsils out soon so maybe that will be a big help. I thank each and everyone of you for the encouraging words. I check this post daily, hoping that someone has replied....the more i here, the more it makes me want to keep going. I will take a new picture of myself tomorrow and post it..may give me a little something more to strive for. Thanks everyone. I love this place...i should have never left it!

Falling apart...i am a failure!
Well I have not had any changes in my life that would contrast with my eating. Last year in august I had surgery, I had a full hysterectomy, well before the surgery I was totally focused. Working out 75 minutes a day, I was only losing like 4 to 6 lbs a month but i was still losing. Well after the surgery, I couldnt work out for 2 months, needless to say I never started back and I didnt get my fills and realized that i could eat pretty much what i wanted and it was like i was out of control. I just got a fill on July 15th, and I am thinking about getting another one. I always seem to go to the junk food because it is easier to get it down. With a fill it takes almost an hour to eat a 4 oz chicken breast, and then sometimes it gets stuck. I have to admit I am a junk food junkie....i love chocolate...i crave it. I feel like i have to eat something salty which is usually a carb and then follow with something sweet. I am just in a funk, i know what i need to do, its just getting motivated to do it. I am suppose to be getting my tonsils out soon, so that may jump start me, kill the sugar cravings because i wont be able to eat nething. I thank all of you for replying to me and i hope i get more responses..i need them to help me. I have now set lapbandtalk.com to my home page that way everytime I get on the computer I have to think about it....Thanks Everyone!!

June 2006 Band Crew
Hello Everyone, it has been forever since I have been on here and that is not a good thing. I have put 20 lbs back on. I am a junk food junkie! My life consist of chips and chocolate because it goes down without any pain or puking. I have not exercised in months. I am in a serious funk. I just recently got a fill so that eliminates some of the junk food but not all of it. I constantly crave chocolate and feel like i need it. I don't know how to get passed it. I mean i do but how do i make myself do it. I am soooo frustrated. I am glad to see that everyone is still around!

Falling apart...i am a failure!
I don't know what has happened to me. I was doing great, I had lost 100 lbs and I have managed to put 20 of that back on. I am eating chocolate like there is no tomorrow. It seems that the junk is easier to get down. I have been banded for 2 years now. I want desparately to start losing again. I have 65 lbs until i reach goal and cannot seem to get on track. It is like I am at war with myself with the food. I am at my wits end and need some support. I feel like such a failure having to turn to others for help. I paid 13,000 for the support of the lapband, and that is not enough. HOW DO I GET BACK ON TRACK?? I need a show in weight loss to get motivated. I just want to scream. Sometimes i think it would be better if i Just had the band removed and be fat like i was destined to be. Anyone else in the same boat as me.....Help Please! I am giving up on myself I need some help! Thank you so much!

Need Support And Band Friends
Thanks so much everyone!!! I soooo needed to hear all of this. It also helps to know that there are others out there that are dealing with the same struggle as me. I will definitely start that thread. I am going out of town this weekend, I am prepared for that I bought healthy foods, but when I get back I will start that new thread and detox myself. I know I can do this..I just need a good kick in the rear. I think I may go in for a fill, I think I may need a small one. So far today, I have done pretty good, I have only had coffee today and a large salad ( vinegar and olive oil) tonight I will have gumbo and I have a pack of 100 cal. animal Cookies....I also plan on walking for 30 minutes. Wish me Luck!! Again...Thanks soooo much everyone.

I so agree with you PinkyLee...I dont want my lunch or dinner over after just 2 bites of food. I want to eat like everyone else. It sucks sometimes..but i keep telling myself that it is only food...and as some people say "NOTHING TASTE AS GOOD AS BEING SKINNY FEELS"..its not our weight we have to control its our BRAIN...i know my brain says eat all the time. Anyways...I got my BodyBugg in and its a pretty cool little device..I havent figured out everything about it ..but i do know i need to move my butt according to the Bugg! It tells me how many more calories i need to burn that day to lose those 2lbs a week that i want to lose.

Creative Vegetables ` Veggies
you can also make veggie kabobs....put all ur veggies that you like on a stick marinate them in some kind of dressing...italian, catalina or you can just marinate them in some seasoning and soy sauce ...again whatever is ur preference and cook them in the oven or a grill ....also very good!

Creative Vegetables ` Veggies
I make a veggie stir fry....olive oil..soy sauce...teriyaki sauce let them saute' and emm good instead of plain steamed broccoli i cook my broccoli in a little olive oil and add all kinds of seasoning like garlic and basil, zatarians, onions....and it is sooo good. I am from louisiana so we love boiled seafood.....but sometimes i take all my veggies that i like....celery, green Beans, onions, corn, brussel sprouts, cabbage, mushrooms and some potatoes and lemons and boil em up with some lite salt, zatarians seasoning...and it is mmm good. you can also take whatever veggies you like and put them in the oven with a can of cream of mushroom or cream of onion or cream of celery ..whichever your preference be and put some seasoning on them and let them cook....very good that way.

Poodles....Good Luck with your decision. I love my band and I know that it will always be there to help ( at least i hope it is always there) I can always get my band filled up to stop me from eating...the gastric bypass is wonderful in the beginning...you lose the weight soooo fast but i have seen gastric people gain most of there weight back and they cant get a fill. They just stretch there stomach back to how it was. I mean if you can completely change your way of eating and realize that yeah this is my way of living then gastric bypass would be awesome. I was always jealous of gastric patients because they lost the weight so fast but now that a year has passed i see some of them have gained some weight back. I am with everyone else in supporting you with whatever decision you make.
