i had my second colonoscopy in a year time.. the first colon prep was before bariatric surgery it was easier and lasted shorter .. after bariatric surgery it took me about 8 hours to finish off the prep... the prep is always the worst part of a colonoscopy.. during the colonoscopy your asleep and wake up after..the results had a few small polyps and they told me i did not have to come back for 5 years whoooooooo....

insane weight loss for 4 months i was 347 surgery day and i lost about 100 pounds in a little over 5 months.. i don't see how you can live on that by that time your hunger must have come back

I'll be 7 months post op this month. I'm finding my appetite is coming back with a vengeance and I have to eat something every 2 hours now!! I lost 71 pounds so far, but not seeing any more weight loss. Anyone else experiencing this?

that is why i chose the sleeve evwn though i was diabetic and had gerd.. for that reason i depend on nsaid for all my aches and pains related to the obesity i carried for more than 25 years

I miss rice so much. My team says not to have it for six months along with bread and all other starchy carbs. I'm also wondering how it will sit with my stomach.

My doctor allows NSAIDS after the sleeve but not after gastric bypass. I have osteoarthritis pretty badly, and I rely on Advil for pain control. My surgeon has no issues with it, at all.

My doc said that anyone who ever wants to take NSAIDS after surgery should have the sleeve. In fact I got sent home from the hospital with a script for ibuprofen and was told to alternate that with tylenol. So I have a hard time believing all these docs that don't want anyone with a sleeve to take NSAIDS.

I am six days post op and have unbelievable back pain.... it doesnt feel like gas its sore, like hard to stand for a long time. I have had it slightly each day with today being the worst like a 10... I didnt know if this is normal or maybe due to rapid wl Ive already lost 11lbs in six days so idk if I should be worried or if the back pain is normal? They did not give me paun meds either after surgery I was on the fast track plan, so just Tylenol.

so far in a week short of 5 months i have lost a total of 94 pounds not shabby

i had the sleeve 4 months ago and had terrible gerd for 10 years before the surgery.. i take daily nexium keeps my gerd in check

i lost 18 pounds first 16 days i was 347;4 surgery day..then next time i was weighed i lost 35 pounds in 41 days.. then i lost another 24 pounds in 48 days.. then i get weighed tomorrow been another 39 days since i was weighed last ..

I had the same issue after surgery. To the point where I was exhausted from not being able to hold still and go to sleep. My mind was exhausted but my legs wanted to dance. It went away at about 3 weeks.

i had 4 procedures done on my legs front and back both legs..it has not improved my leg issues...

I've been on omeprazole 2 x every day for the last 6 years.
