  1. I had my first pre-op shake this morning. My surgery is June 9th and it feels like a dream. I know just how you both feel. This is the right thing to do for me and my family, but I still have thoughts of what if it doesn’t work for me. I started a diet of my own two days ago just to see if I could live on liquids for two meals and a reasonable supper. It was really hard for me and I did have a bite or two of my kids lunch while I prepared it. I felt so bad afterwards. I kept thinking if I can’t do it now how am I going to do it later. All of these questions keep spinning in my head.
  2. Thank you Dr. Ron, I am happy to have found this support group. I did contact your office but I am located about 4 hours away and worried about the drive. I went to the semiar at Dr. Luttrell's office and feel I have made the right decision for myself. I have a 41 BMI and a long history of failed diet attempts. Anything can happen but I am going to hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
  3. thank you for the easy to follow instructions... I would have never figured that out. I know exactly what you mean. I have always sang in church. I know that when my weight is up ,I am less willing to stand up and do what the Lord has called me to do. Plus, I am too tired to do it. I hope that I will soon be able to get up and get going.
  4. I am so happy to find this wonderful group. I am schedulde to be banded on june 9th. I am sure this is the right thing for me to do. Numbrlgirl your story made me cry... What a blessing! I know it will be on my mind as I go into surgery. I have battled my weight all my life and know that the battle may not end the day of surgery, but with Gods help I will use the band to overcome my weight loss battle. I am new and have been just checking everything out. I cant seem to find out how to create my signature and apply the ticker to my signature. I located the ticker site and created my ticker. I just dont know where to go to apply it? Can someone help me?
  5. I am scheduled with Dr Luttrell 6/9... Federal BCBS will not pre approve but Dr Luttrell's office said that they screen paitients very good and had never been denied coverage from Fed BCBS
