The fills need to be done by an MD or PA. I have worked with band patients for a long time and have seen what could happen if the band is too tight or you got an infection. Just trust me on this one. I am a nurse and I know how to access the port, but even I don't access it.

Hey There Peach. I was banded on the 9th by Dr. Henderson. Had the same problem post op. I did end up staying in the hospital but they did not take any Fluid out. Were you at the weekend workshop last weekend?

I am a newbie here as well and will be getting my band on June 9th :biggrin2:. My process went a little faster than others because I self-financed my procedure :wink2:. Just wondering if there was anyone on here from the Savannah or Brunswick area that go to any of those support groups that could provide some information for me. Thanks in advance.
