Dose anyone know were to get training to do the fill's????

I'm in Oregon and had Surg May of 07 I did really well at first but I have since fallen off the Band wagon so to speak...I need a fill but there is only one person in the areas that dose them...My partner is a nurse and could be trained to do this procedure.

Ive never heard of this....where did u have your surgery? Just confused as to why your surgeon wouldnt be doing the fills. I was also banded in 07, and have had so many ups and downs Id be lost without my surgeon. Just since July Ive had 4 fills and unfills trying to find my "sweet spot". Not judging.......just curious.....

The fills need to be done by an MD or PA. I have worked with band patients for a long time and have seen what could happen if the band is too tight or you got an infection. Just trust me on this one. I am a nurse and I know how to access the port, but even I don't access it.
