    May 20th

I'm feeling semi-normal. Eating is a hit or miss. Sometimes i can get something down and other times i absolutely can't. I am still mainly on shakes since food isn't really appetizing.

  5. the original post is old but the op was helpful in answering my question recently. I plan on speaking to a lactation specialist at the hospital once there. I can see what you mean though. I asked my doctor and he was pretty vague on the topic. (not his specialty right :) ) Last thing I want is to harm my babe. I made it to a year which is great.
  6. WOW , 20 months, thats awesome ! This is my first successful nursing experience out of my three and he is my last. We have such a great bond that its been difficult thinking i need to stop. I barely got my surgery date this passed monday for the 20th. im excited but wasn't expecting so soon of a date so i feel like i cant mentally prepare myself to start weaning. I aslso have a stash thatll last me a few months for what ever reason. He takes cups easily but when Im home he wants nothing to do with cups/bottles just straight from the tap. Im goning to have to look her up so i can read up on her. Thank you cant wait to be part of the "losers" bench
  7. I'm on the lower BMI side and i was given a 2 week pre-op diet . 4 shakes, broth and jello, 😐 But my dr said its something he requires all his patients follow it irregardless to shrink the liver.
  8. good to hear ! I have my surgery 05/20 and the thought of having to stop BF was bumming me out. I feel optamistic hearing it's possible. My baby is 13 months so i know if i stopped it'd be ok but im not ready LOL
  9. Hey I know it's been almost a year op but were you able to successfully breastfeed after the surgery ?

To tell or not to tell

Personally I have only told my parents, husband, oldest daughter and sister. Don't plan on telling anyone else. I feel like it's no ones business and don't want to risk being judged. I will deal with people when the time comes regarding my weight loss.
