Hello to all, I am here on Fort Hood and had my surgery done at Southwest Bariatrics back in April of this year. I would really enjoy being apart of your group. Is there a get together that you all attend? If there is any questions I can answer just ask. I went through Tricare for my surgery too. Renee

Hello My name is Renee and I was banded on 4/7/08. I have lost 40 pounds and have not regreted my choice in this type of WLS. I eat normal foods and sometimes I have one of my favorite sweet dishes. Oh and once I lost the first 25 lbs my body felt better and now I exercise 5-6 days a week. Best of luck to you and I wish you a speedy recovery!!!!

:thumbup:Hi there, I actually requested to go Austin and my PCP put it in for me as they were faster at getting me in and banded. The only thing I had to pay for was the psych exam, no biggie and well worth it!! I did not like the psych doc hear in Killeen, he depressed me!!! What are they wanting you to pay for? Renee

Yes they paid for all of mine, I went to Austin for my surgery. Great group of Dr.s there.
